"The staff were lovely and check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is in a great location, which made getting around very convenient. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the smell throughout the floor. It had a strong musty, old smoke smell, and I’m not sure if we were on a smoking floor, but it was quite noticeable. The room itself also had a musty smell on arrival. The bedding and room were clean, but there were some visible stains and areas that looked like shower mould, which made the room feel less fresh. With some attention to the odour and maintenance details, this could be a much better stay, as the staff and location were both positives."

"overall i do like the hotel and the staff bends over backwards to help guests but i am not a fan of the rooftop resto bar. it is, in fact, a restaurant masquerading as a resto bar. upon arrival the greeters makes one feel (my experience on two occasions) as though they are being put out when you show up and state that you simply want to have a drink and take in the views. there is no bar area to speak of and even if you do manage to sit in the small designated bar space, be prepared for the stools to disappear at any moment (my experience on one occasion) for no apparent reason. staff are cordial but clearly focused on getting drinks prepared for table orders, so prepared to be an afterthought. furthermore, there is no standing or mingling area. in summary, it is designed and operated as a place for dinner/drinks but not for casual socializing and mingling. any claims to the contrary the hotel might make, are, simply not true."

Pool was small but nice when it's so hot outside. Had that nic resort feel on a smaller scale l. I would stay here again for sure. Price was on point."
