Great getaway

Great place to stay too relax and unwind with the family. Easy to get to off the motorway. Great facilities, lovely surroundings. The private pool is great! Definitely would recommend it

We have had such a lovely few days. The house was perfect for us; plenty of space indoors and in the garden. We loved the pool and the tennis court. Really well located. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Second time of staying here. Everything you could need is provided. Snooker room, tennis courts and swimming pool, there's no need to leave the house. Lovely break.

A week of fun

Friendly and welcoming stay in a place which met all our expectations. Tennis, badminton and of course swimming. Exclusively ours from 8am til 20pm. Us and the three boys had so much fun! Shops and a great park in Banbury with a Coop 5 minutes away. Thank you Peter.

We had a great time and everything was good including the weather so indoor and oudoor activities were all utilised. Some cleaning is required especially the sofa in the living room. Other than that all very good. Will return soon. Thanks

Lovely break away

We had lovely stay and the accommodation and the facilities were beyond our expectations. Peter wasn’t there to great us but check in was straightforward and he popped in to say hello later that day. Nothing too much trouble. Accomodation spacious and we generally felt like we were on top of each other. Made good use of the swimming pool, snooker table, tennis court and badminton game. Definitely keeping it on our list.

Brilliant property in a lovely location

The purpose of our stay was for my elderly parents to have a small break and I chose this property as being suitable for their needs. Our expectations were definitely fulfilled. It is beautiful property in a pretty setting. Highlights for us was that being all on one level was easy for my elderly parents. Access to the pool was easy, the pool was lovely and warm and nice to have to ourselves. The full size snooker table was an added bonus and the snooker player amongst us made full use of it! The outdoor seating was very comfortable, just a pity the weather was quite warm enough to take full advantage. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook but we found a couple of pubs locally with good food and atmosphere and people were very friendly. An excellent base for exploring the area or for just some R & R and we would definitely return again.

Lovely apartment

This property in Chacombe is lovely. The apartment is very comfortable with good quality furnishings and appliances. The photos on the listing don't do it justice as they make it look rather ordinary, but it isn't! It's spacious with lots of storage, and a great games room containing a full size billiard table (adults only) and it's just a short walk across the garden to the pool (exclusive use). The pool is the same depth throughout (about 1.3m, so possibly not suitable for small children who lack confidence in the water) and is warmer than a standard public pool. There are towels and a shower at the pool too which are very handy. Although Peter was away, he was still very quick to respond to queries, and eager to make sure everything was right for us. Highly Enjoyable Stay!

We had a lovely stay in the country house, enjoying the seclusion and its wonderful amenities. It's brilliantly equipped with everything you need, including pool towels.The location is only a 9-10 minute drive to the centre of Banbury.Peter is a tremendous host and his super quick responses ensure your time here will be a profoundly pleasant one.

Very clean and comfortable would definitely return.The pool and snooker table were excellent.Plenty of room, good wifi. Even had electric blankets . Has good size freezer which I didnt expect.Perhaps some softer lighting in the lounge we used bedside light and some more seating in pool area ( only 1 in there)But definitely 5 star

Relaxing short break

This is a lovely place. Incredibly spacious, quiet, and situated perfectly to explore the Cotswolds. The amenities are amazing (we made very good use of the indoor pool - ideal given the heatwave during our visit) and the location is really beautiful. Communication with the hosts was clear and welcoming - we'd love to come back.

Had an absolutely amazing time here and can not wait to return.We loved everything about the property, such an excellent place for 3 16 year old girls and their mothers to celebrate their special birthdays.The pool was obviously a huge hit, but everything else was perfect too. The location was fab, really tranquil with squirrels and rabbits in the garden, however an M&S foodhall was within a 7 minute drive for supplies. The Chinese takeaway we had delivered from Mings was a real treat.To top it off, Peter was a fabulous host, we felt so welcome and nothing was too much trouble for him.Breaks away really don't get much better than this, we made some magical memories during our weekend here.Highly recommend this property!

Old friends

We were a group of 4 friends who met at University (a long time ago!).We’re spread across the country so this location just off the M40 was ideal. The facilities are great. Where else can you find the exclusive use of a tennis court, swimming pool and a snooker table?! The owner’s communication before and during our stay were first class. Check-in was very easy.No issues at all and you can safely ignore other reviews about the motorhomes causing parking problems -they are blocked parked down the side of the house and off the road. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!
