The staff were kind and helpful throughout and the breakfast was just right to get us energized for the day. The trail to Lopes Mendes is close to the property too. Visit the museum next door when staying. It is beautiful and interesting. Very much recommended"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Aratinga Inn. The rooms are spotless and have everything you need. The Inn also has beach towels, beach balls etc. to borrow. We stayed in one of the lodges and don’t have one negative thing to say. The breakfast was lovely - the fresh fruit (and especially mango) was delicious. You can also ask the ladies who work in the kitchen to cook you eggs or an omelette. The Inn also provides an afternoon tea included which was welcome after a whole day exploring the island. The staff are all helpful and friendly. We had many chats with Sergio, the owner, who advised us where to go and what to do. He has really built a lovely and homely place and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting."

A Hospitalidade dos Proprietários, faz com que vc se sinta em CASA, nunca estivemos em um local com tanto amor em tratar bem os clientes. Para quem gosta de fazer caminhada, existe uma de Bananal até Abrão, 16km, linda."

"My boyfriend and I came from New York City to Casa de Ilha for two nights. We had an amazing experience. First of all the view and the facility is incredible. It’s small with only 4 to 5 rooms. Each room has a private Jacuzzi overlooking the water. And there is a small private beach with chairs and umbrellas. They also had kayaks, paddle board and snorkeling equipment. The staff was super nice and attentive. Specifically Tao, was super helpful as he was one of the only English speakers. They made sure our stay was perfect. They even gave us a late checkout at 6pm on our last day (it cost extra). Breakfast is served at 8 AM or 9:30 AM and dinner is served at seven or 730 every day. The food was delicious. To enter/exit the island you could take a public speedboat or a private boat. We opted for the private boat so that we could stay a little bit longer. The last public speedboat was at 4 PM. Overall, if you are looking for a romantic, secluded, intimate getaway I would highly recommend staying here. It is more expensive than some of the options nearby but I think it was worth it just for the jacuzzi/private beach."
