"Stunning spot "

"We had a really memorable stay at this beautifully situated hotel. The setting is genuinely special - it feels like something out of The Jungle Book, surrounded by lush greenery with crystal-clear pools that create a relaxing, almost magical atmosphere. The standout for us was the team; the staff were incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring throughout our stay, which made a big difference. The amenities across the resort are exceptional. The “Valley of the Pools” and “Bushbuck Club” are fantastic spaces, catering brilliantly to both families and couples. These areas really elevate the overall experience and give the hotel a unique edge. Where the hotel falls slightly short is in the upkeep of the hotel itself. While it does retain a certain charm and character, it did feel a little dated compared to the standard you might expect. Some of the modern comforts were lacking – the shower pressure was quite weak, a few doors were stiff, and some handles were loo se. The furnishings, although perhaps intended to feel eclectic, came across more as mismatched and slightly out of place rather than thoughtfully styled. Importantly, none of this detracted from our overall enjoyment, and we still had a fantastic stay. However, with some thoughtful investment and modernisation in the rooms, this hotel has the potential to move from a very good 4-star experience to a truly outstanding 5-star destination."

"Very good location but it’s an older property, ceiling leak in the hallway outside our room for a couple days."

"A few hiccups at the start of my first residence at Sala Beach House could have ended in disaster. But Henk, Thabo ( a great sommelier) and the efforts of the wider Team turned it round. So much so that I booked my next stay before i left for my Daughter and I!"
