Ferienhaus im Harz mit Sauna und Bergblick

"Holiday Home Sophie" is located in the Harz region, specifically in the Rieder district of the town of Ballenstedt, directly on a mountain slope. The house offers enough space for a family.
It is in a quiet and quaint location. This is the perfect way to relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy nature. Thanks to its hillside location, you have a fantastic view of the surroundings, including the city of Quedlinburg, a World Heritage Site, which was recently crowned the "most beautiful half-timbered town in Germany". A special highlight of this holiday home is the sauna, which warms you up again after a long hike, bike or ski tour. There is a tool shed for your bikes that can accommodate up to four bikes. You can also charge your e-bike or pedelec in the equipment room.
Excursions in the immediate vicinity include the collegiate church in Gernrode and Roseburg or Ballenstedt Castles. If heading further afield, there are also the Thale Erlebniswelt cable cars, Rappbode dam, Rübeland stalactite caves, Pullman City Harz or the Brocken.
The Harz region also offers extensive year-round hiking. By collecting hiking stamps and hiking pins, even the youngest among you will be motivated. Tasks vary depending on length and difficulty. You can get more information from us on site.
Please note that the house is only heated with wood and the large tiled stove in the fireplace room. Wood and any corresponding materials will be provided.

Expenses related to charging an electric or hybrid car (when possible) are always charged according to use and separately

Sehr sauberes gemütliches Haus

Ein tolles Haus ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Direkter Zugang zu schönen Wanderwegen und wirklich idyllisch gelegen. Netter Vermieter der alles gut erklärt. Einzig die Zufahrt ist etwas holprig.

Kuschelige warme Hütte mit Kachelofen.Wir kommen wieder!

Unser kleiner Urlaub im Harz mitten im Winter wurde durch die wunderschöne Unterkunft nur noch schöner. Nach einer langen verschneiten Wanderung konnte man sich am Kachelofen oder in der hauseigenen Sauna aufwärmen. Alles war schön sauber und sehr gemütlich. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful time in Rieder/Ballenstedt, Michael is an excellent host who took good care of us, The house is simply fantastic! Very clean, with new comfortable mattresses, beautifully furnished, and extremely cozy, The view of the valley is breathtaking, we had great sunsets and a dreamy view of the starry sky, The surroundings are perfect for hiking and cycling, An old railway line has been converted into a bike path just below the house, So the tourist tax is well invested, 👍🏻 The communication with the management company Belvilla could have been better, We arrived at different times with several people and a dog, and unfortunately, Belvilla could not coordinate that properly, despite email and phone calls, Fortunately, Michael sorted that out for us, We would love to come back!

Ein wirklich sehr gemütliches kleines Ferienhaus mit Sauna. Kann nur weiterempfohlen werden.

Zum Objekt selber muss man nicht viel sagen. In dieser idylischen Lage macht man gern Urlaub. Kleines Manko meinerseits, leider gibt es keine befestigte Straße zum Objekt. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.
