Gepflegtes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Das Hotel liegt super zentral in der pittoresken Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war relativ klein aber mit allem was ich brauchte ausgestattet. Das nächste mal würde ich mir ein Zimmer nach hinten wünschen, da es von vorne relativ laut war.

Fantastisk sted i idyllisk by

Skønt ophold på Hotel zum Kansler, der ligger i en fantastisk idyllisk by i Harzen. Fin service og rigtig god morgenmad (især kaffen!). Værelserne er ikke opdaterede siden 90erne, men det gør ikke noget. Dette er et sted, hvor man har en enkelt overnatning inden man skal videre. Vi fik et værelse med udsigt mod parkeringspladsen, og vi kunne have alle vinduer åbne og nyde udsigten mod de mange træer. Hotellet ligger to min fra slottet på toppen, som er et besøg værd. Wifi, natteliv og shopping - glem alt om det, for dette er et sted til afslapning og idyl med en øl og en god bog.

Wir waren im Göstehausbzur Post untergebracht. Das Zimmer war sauber allerdings in die Jahre gekommen. Für die eine Nacht war es ok. Preis- Leistung war in Ordnung. Leider war kein Duschbad mehr im Spender, war ärgerlich. Das Frühstück war gut, der Service auch.

In einem der Gästehäuser untergebracht. Nicht besonders einladend. Dachgeschoß für große Personen einfach nicht angenehm Altes Bettgestell + Matratzen viel zu weich. Handtücher waren wirklich nur Lappen !! Dafür war das Frühstück sehr gut !!° Frisches Obst. Aufmerksames Personal

Hotel umgeben von Fachwerkhäusern

Die Rezeption war im Restaurant zu finden,was soweit in Ordnung war. Die Stühle im Eingangsbereich beim Fahrstuhl waren sehr verstaubt. Leider war unser Zimmer wohl eines der schlechtesten. Ein schmaler Schlauch und sehr hellhörig. Geräusche von außen waren schon sehr laut wahrzunehmen. Das Bad war i.O. Die Handtücher dafür wohl schon einiges älter und sehr abgenutzt. Das Frühstück war schlicht. Rührei wäre schön gewesen, ebenso Mineralwasser. Und eine aufmerksamere Servicekraft, die Kaffee bringt und gebrauchte Teller abräumt. Den Kaffee haben wir zufällig auf der Restauranttheke gefunden, Teller einfach gestapelt. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Wir waren jedoch froh, nur eine Nacht gebucht zu haben.

Ich übernachte dort nicht wieder

Ich hatte als Einzelzimmer ein extrem kleines und enges Zimmer,welches auch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen war.Die Tapete löst sich teilweise vom Untergrund.Im Bad konnte man durch die Dachschräge nicht richtig stehen.Auch das Frühstück war sehr einfach und übersichtlich.

Godt, roligt og med stil.

Godt hotel i en by der udelukkende består af gamle bindingsværkshuse. Morgenmaden er god, spisekortet fint med godt udvalg og til rimelige priser, og betjeningen er venlig og hurtig. Der er elevator i hovedbygningen, og der skal man bestille værelse, hvis man har problemer med trapper. Natteliv? - så er det ikke her.

Eigentlich war alles sehr gut..... Nur der Frühstücksraum - eine Halle in der in der Mitte 6 Biertische mit Büffett aufgebaut war - wirkte etwas befremdlich. Ein Hauch Jugendherberge weht durch das Hotel :-) Für den Preis haben wir schon etwas mehr gesehen.

Our German relatives that joined us there got much better service. They never tipped and as good Americans we always tipped and seemed the more we tipped the worse service we got. There were many tour buses there and could not get to breakfast until they had left hotel. Unless other Germans were there for breakfast they did not bring new food out. The tour groups cleaned out the buffet.
