"The most beautiful, serene and peaceful escape away from civilization. Very clean cabin, very accurate photo representation of the property. Great communication with the host before arrival. Visible signage off the highway and detailed directions for finding the cabin. Smooth check in, no interruptions. All I could hear was the blissful sound of wildlife and birds all day and night. Highly recommend, will return in the future."

"Marita and Ian are the perfect hosts. As a woman travelling alone it was very reassuring to be met by smiling faces and I immediately felt safe. Nothing is too much trouble and your hosts are always around, albeit decretely to help in any way they can. The property is magnificent and immaculate. The room I stayed in had a queen size bed and was very spacious with the most beautiful bathroom including a fabulous claw foot bath to soak in and walk in shower. Immediately outside on the verandah was a small tea and coffee station with a micro wave and bar fridge. The attention to detail was amazing with the added touches of chocolates and milk in the fridge. Ians love of the garden is strikingly obvious with one of the most beautiful gardens I have ever seen. The birds love it there too and I was astounded by the variety that make it their home.The village of Balingup is only 5 mins away making it just far enough away to feel like you have escaped to the country. I highly recommend a visit to this oasis in the South West of Western Australia and intend on booking again as soon as I can.Many thanks to Marita and Ian for your warm hospitality.
