This well appointed and updated 3 Bedroom, 3 1/2 Bath home in The Hammocks on Bald Head Island provides plenty of space for people to gather and relax. From the gorgeous décor to the wide amenities this home offers, you will feel spoiled from the moment you walk in the door. Enjoy the large living spaces or lounge on the front porch, screened-in porch, or backyard hammock. The well-stocked kitchen provides ample room to prepare gourmet meals for a large crew. Have fun in the community pool (seasonal), fitness center, or billiards room. Use the provided 6-passenger golf cart or borrow a bike from the bike barn to explore all the island has to offer! Bald Head Island Club and Shoals Club access available for additional fees.

Great location

The pool area and view are great and relaxing! Very short drive to the beach, which any drive is fun on a golf cart. The kitchen is well stocked and bedrooms are very comfortable. Overall great place to stay and one of my favorite places to stay on the island!

Family weekend getaway

We stayed at the Sanderling over Veteran’s Day weekend and had a wonderful trip. What a beautiful house in a beautiful location. We don’t live far from BHI, but had never experienced the island, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is spacious and accommodating with comfortable beds, and the owner was easy to contact and a pleasure to work with. We would love to come visit again sometime!

Wonderful and Relaxing Option on BHI

We really enjoyed our stay on Bald Head Island and this VRBO in the Hammocks development was easily one of the nicest vacation rentals we have stayed in. We had between 3 and 6 adults (2 parents, 4 college-age kids), and always had plenty of space. Clean, comfortable 3 BR, with great amenities and excellent communication with the owners. The Hammocks staff were also very nice and readily available if needed. Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend it. For restaurants on BHI, don't miss Jailhouse Provisions (near the Maritime Market and a short golf cart drive from The Hammocks). Great food and drinks, similar menu to Jules but a lot less expensive. Also please visit and support the BHI Conservancy (great educational programs and gift shop)
