"The location of this hotel is great, it's handy to go out and about Barra, the beach a few steps ways. Our room was clean. What stood out for us was the staff, especially Fabio in the reception. We had a small issue with our first room but he was very attentive and accomodating to ensure we had a great stay. I recommend this place when going to Salvador. "

Negatives were that we couldn't adjust the temperature in the shower so it was quite hot, communication on check-in wasn't clear, and the washing machines in the building's laundry room didn't wash our clothes properly."

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
