The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. Couple of things , stair carpet needs to be fixed coming out of bedroom , trip risk.Could have done with some fans , very very hot!!!!Gorgeous period features and nice soft furnishings.Be warned there are lots of stairs, not for the elderly or with small children."

"Couldn’t fault the room I stayed in , however a family member also stayed and she didn’t have a/c in her room and was given a fan , apparently not all the rooms have a/c. On check out , there was only one man on reception and it took 40 mins to check out. My refund still hasn’t gone back onto my card for the £50 holding fee, waiting 2 weeks after. Bar staff were very slow and didn’t seem to know what was going on and also ran out of paper in the machine multiple times which caused further delays."
