Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Downtown South Congress
Its not so much the hotel. We booked the embassy suites and when we fot there, we're told they overbooked and we did t have rooms! Shunted to Hilton, in a less than desirable neighborhood. Hilton was ok, but no where near we booked. 30 minaway.

Colton House Hotel
This hotel is in a great area and has a terrific model. I didn’t love that. It had a Resort fee because I didn’t make use of the coffee or cocktail that it included each day, but overall would totally stay here again.

Lake views were nice. However trying to park our truck in the garage was impossible. We were then asked to park at an adjacent parking spot and we received a big warning tow away ticket. We decided to go back to valet and they refused to valet. So now we have no where to park. We asked the valet ...
