The sheets were clean, the room and bathroom were clean, lots of TV channels. What else do you really need for a quick one night stay for a reasoble price. I would stay here again.

Could have been better
Ac didn't work that well was warm most of the night. Floor was wet from the humidity in the room the furniture in the room was dated the bathroom was dated also

Good, but sketchy folks in the parking lot.
Front desk folks were nice. Room was BUG FREE. My main issue was there were a lot of sketchy folks hanging out in the parking lot, like drug deals were going down. That is an assumption on my part, but I wasn't born last night.

When we arrived, the room to which we were assigned had an electronic door key that would not work and the master key would not work either. We were reassigned to a different room which was just fine.

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired... The carpet was disgusting, turned our feet black on the bottom... I found a random medication pill on the floor and thank God I found it and not my two year old daughter... The owners acted like they didn't care that my child could have had some serious health problems due to their staff not thoroughly cleaning the room. The housekeeping staff would ask what we needed and it took multiple requests and calls to the front desk just to get towels or toilet paper. Would NOT stay here again!!!

Hurricane shelter
Trip was an evacuation from hurricane Dorian. The room had a refrigerator and microwave along with a TV with somewhat shoddy performance (Picture frequently pixelated). There was a hair dryer but no iron or ironing board or, more surprising, coffee service in room as you would find in grander hotels/motels. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. When the air conditioner compressor came on it sounded surprisingly like a big diesel engine starting up and idling which was sort of loud but not enough to keep us awake. As refugees we were happy to get a room anywhere in Augusta and for the price we got the one thing we really needed; basic shelter from the storm. This inn provided that. By the way, the staff were friendly and efficient.

Front desk staff put us in danger!!
Check in was smooth and relatively quick but the ice machine wasn't working and the ice was offered in a cooler with no scoop. Then within a couple hours of check in, one of the "regulars" started playing extremely loud music. We called the front desk and asked them to speak to the guest. About 5 minutes later, the guest from the room with the loud music knocks on our door. Apparently the front desk told him that we had complained and gave him our room number. The guy actually came to confront us about complaining. I thought it was against hotels' policy to give out room numbers in these kinds of situations for just such a reason. After we got him to leave, we immediately called the front desk, told them, and asked to be moved. They were reluctant but finally moved us to a double bed room on the other side of the hotel. We won't be returning and we've stayed multiple times in the past. This could have quickly turned into a violent situation. I'm shocked at the hotel's actions and my wife was uncomfortable for our entire stay. I'm hoping Hotels.com addresses this situation directly with the hotel and its managers.

We are sorry about your stay here. We have a group of workers that stays on that side and the only available room was the one we gave you. The gentleman that was asked to turn the music down was sitting outside . Front desk did not tell him what room the complaint came from. We had no problems moving you , that was our last smoking king room but we could put you in a double. The ice machine had froze up so we had ice in a cooler with a pitcher to get the ice with. They need to upgrade to a NEW ICE MACHINE. Scooping ice out of cooler is unsanitary. Cooler is dirty.

The ice machine is couple years old but that week the temperature was high all week and the machine couldn't handle the heat. The cooler was clean just has stains from being outside, but the ice machine is working fine now. Thank you for your stay, Manager
