About this property

Oneroa Olive Estate - Private retreat with spa

  • Summary:

Oneroa Olive Estate is a working olive farm set within a rural retreat set across 4.5 acres of rolling grounds, vineyard rows, and olive trees, with a spa and just moments from Oneroa Village. Offering space, sun, and a strong sense of privacy, the home is designed for relaxed indoor-outdoor living while remaining close to beaches, cafés, and village life.

    The Space:

Oneroa Olive Estate is arranged to make the most of its open setting and generous grounds. The main house is light-filled and spacious, with multiple living and dining areas that open directly to wide decks and sheltered outdoor spaces. Large glass sliders connect the interiors to the landscape, with views across lawns, vineyard plantings, and established greenery.

At the heart of the home, the main living area brings together a comfortable lounge, a long dining table, and a modern kitchen designed for shared meals and easy entertaining. A second living space provides a quieter place to read or unwind, offering flexibility for families or groups wanting separate zones.

Three bedrooms are located within the main house, each bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. A fourth bedroom sits in a separate standalone cottage with its own ensuite, creating a private option for a couple, extended family members, or guests wanting additional independence.

The wider estate includes open green space, olive trees, vineyard rows, and long valley views. While the property feels calm and removed, it remains close to Oneroa, allowing guests to enjoy the atmosphere of a rural hideaway without sacrificing convenience.

    Bed configuration

    Bedroom 1: King bed

    The Neighborhood:

Despite its peaceful rural setting, Oneroa Olive Estate is located close to Oneroa Village, the island’s main hub for cafés, boutiques, galleries, and relaxed dining. Oneroa Beach is approximately 400 metres away and is popular for swimming, gentle walks, and sheltered conditions.

The village offers a wide range of dining options, including Wai Kitchen overlooking the bay, Akito for modern breakfasts, Solar Eating House for relaxed daytime dining, The Local by the beach, and evening options such as The Oyster Inn and Fenice. Mudbrick and Cable Bay vineyards are a short drive away and are well known for vineyard dining and elevated sea views.

Walking tracks, coastal lookouts, and additional beaches are easily reached from the area, making the property a good base for exploring at a relaxed pace.

    Getting Around:

The nearest bus stops are in Oneroa Village, within easy reach of the property. Regular bus services run from Oneroa through to major vineyards, including Mudbrick and Cable Bay, before continuing across the island and on to the passenger ferry terminal at Matiatia. Buses also run through to Onetangi, stopping near key wineries and continuing back to Oneroa and the ferry.

On-site parking is available. Taxis, e-bikes, scooters, and rental cars operate across Waiheke, though availability can be limited at peak times.

    Other Things to Note:

    This is a working vineyard.
