If you’ve seen pictures that looks like the room is in a basement it’s because the windows are very small and look at a brick wall. Our very limited contact with members of staff were very polite and, thankfully for us, their English was excellent and way better than our French."

We chose Hotel de l’Ampitheatre for its proximity to the train station and the sights, and high ratings. We were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and charming, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. It felt like a lovely little Inn.
