"This Bay City location has the BEST staff of any hotel we have booked. They were kind, courteous, professional and responded immediately to any request, question or issue we brought to their attention. Staff rates 10 out of 10! It appears this hotel has recently been sold and the on site GM and maintenance director were let go soon thereafter. The overall hotel and our room were clean, neat but needed attention to replacement/maintenance issues. Our room's carpet was damp and musty..black stuff was coming up to the surface. It may be the carpet was cleaned (SOAKED) and not properly allowed to dry..whatever, we reported it to the staff and they responded best they could. Hopefully, new ownership will give the upgrades, attention and assistance this staff needs and deserves!"
