Excellent, Hotel good location
Decent hotel very close to Omonia Station Metro and also close to Acropolis. Got a nice 7th floor room. Room was clean and spotless with AC and a balcony. Bathroom could definitely do with modernisation but at the price point I thought it was a nice hotel. Would 100% stay again

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff is superb and very responsive. There is no available parking right at the property. We did get a small Fiat 500, and was able to park at the hotel front when the business next to it was closed at night. There is parking near the hotel with a 2 minute walk. That is where some of the drug addicts hang out. But surprisingly, they left us alone. Panos, Mikey, Mary and Dimitra are awesome at their jobs. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. The room was clean. Plus when we asked for housekeeping to clean, bring fresh towels. They even fixed up our beds. The shower was small. Plus there was no actual shower head. It was hand held. There were no funny smells. Places to eat were nearby. Souvenir shops were near too. The Metro station was nearby as well. Oskarini on the square was a good gyro place. The owner Adem is a funny guy. Attiki bakery at the square had pastries to die for. Watch out for pick pockets on the train. These are out of towners that prey on tourists. But all in all Diros Hotel 🏨 was good to us. We will be back, because the staff was nice. We will also tell others to go there and stay. The elevator also talks in English and Greek. Ektos Osorofos… sixth floor 😁

Very Good Budget Hotel
Great little budget hotel. Room was spotless & beds very comfy. Location was good from the perspective of having the train line within a 3min walk which can get you all over Athens (including the airport) quite easily. Definitely recommended for the budget traveller

overnight stay clean comfortable and affordable
For the price a super place to stay right in the centre of Athens, we often stay there when we arrive or leave athens and have an early or late flight. Not a place for holidays, but very good for overnight stays.

There was nothing very special or outstanding about this hotel. The service was minimal. No lounge facilities and the bathroom definitely needed redoing and modernised

Best hotel in Athens city centre, the staff was really kind and helpful, the man at the counter is a great person! Between 15 & 30 minutes walk from all attractions. Trains station to the airport near, 5 minutes walk.

Acceptable hotel in the diminishing area of Omonia
This hotel is typical of many in this category i.e. for a few nights where you will spend a lot of time out of the room it is acceptable in terms of being able to sleep, the view from the balcony, etc. The decorations and bathroom look a little 'tired' and as with most city hotel staff they are fairly neutral and business-like and unlike holiday island hotel staff. While not personally all that bothered this area at night could be a challenge to certain travellers as it increasingly populated by groups of idle males on street corners, street vendors (probably unlicensed) many of who, are clearly not Greek and graffiti everywhere at head height; and yet there is always one building or park area to cheer you up.

Easy and convenient to the Omonia station. Lots if shops and restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is simple, but great for the price. Very sweet staff. The family is incredibly kind.

GOOD HOTEL FOR THE MONEY
For the money, I rate it very good. Good location (safe, clean and quiet, but a little far from the main sites. Metro station a block away), the view from our room was not very good (a wall). The actual room was great and so was the AC. The only thing this hotel needs to change is the shower, you had to hold the shower head on one hand to shower, very uncomfortable and a total surprise, very annoying. Very good WIFI.

Fine for a few nights, close to metro
Affordable hotel very close to Omnia station. Good for a few nights in the city but don't hang out in Omonia. Don't opt for the 5 euro breakfast. Instead find something close by. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels.

The room is clean,and has all of the basic necessities. It centrally located in Athens, near the metro and shopping. A basic hotel to transition from cruise to land tours.

Close to Omonia square. Good value
Great value for the money for the right traveler (if you are used to Disney resorts do not book here). All what I needed for two days stay. Metro and food services very close. Room exactly as on picture plus mini fridge.

Hotel rooms are good size. Staff was helpful. Maintenance could be better. Shower hear was broken. TV's should be larger.

We had a great stay. Basic but at a good price.
The location was great. It felt safe and was only a short walk to the Metro station. It was basic accommodations but clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. They allowed us to leave our bags while we made an overnight trip to Hydra. We had a great vacation

Accessible place and cozy hotel room
It was near the Omonia Square and was accessible to local restaurants and shops. The staff were nice. The room was good enough for the price given. The elevator wouldn't close right away though.

DO NOT STAY HERE: Laptop Stolen from Lobby!
DO NOT STAY HERE! 1. Firstly, I had my laptop stolen right in front of the reception desk while there was an attendent while I was at lunch. He was totally incompetent and seemingly uninterested in helping me. I had to ask him to look at the security camera to see who had taken it. He couldn't seem to be bothered to follow up with his boss either. 2. This is a very bad area of town. There are homeless people and beggars right outside the hotel door. So, I assume it was one of these who just walked in and took my laptop bag under the noise of the attendant who was busy play on his laptop. 3. Surprisingly, the hotel was clean and the room was in great condition. 4. So, buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I would have been better off spending an extra $100 for a room a few blocks away in a better area with actual security. DO NOT STAY HERE!

First stay good, second stay left disappointed
Second stay here, and was left disappointed, They were unable to assist on a couple of requests and found the staff disinterested in helping. There were a couple of issues with the room that still weren't fixed by the end of my stay. The location is perfect to jump on metro, and the second stay room substantially smaller and noisier. In short - first stay good, second stay disappointing.

It was the worse experience ever. after I stayed at this hotel, I got itchy the next day and started red. I didn't know until I got back home. My back, shoulder, neck got more itchy. I went to see the doctor and those red spots are from bed bugs bites!!! The hotel seems not that dirty. My room was 604. now I'm so depressed and stressed because I have to clean my whole house.

Much better than expected,very good value!
Having read some negative reviews, I was a bit anxious about what I would find - but the room was much better than expected! Clean, well-appointed, great mattress, good towels/room service plenty of heat, great wifi and small veranda. Property overall well-maintained. Not so hot is the neighborhood, might seem too scruffy if you don't do your homework. On a main street about 100 meters from Metro and near a number of good restaurants. Very convenient and very good value...I'll be back!!!

Decent place to stay in Athens
We had a twin room at the back of the hotel, with a view of the wall. The room was comfortable and cleaned everyday. All day hot water. good bathroom. But the sheets were not changed once during the 3 night stay.
