Major stuff-up
When we arrived we were told that there had been a major stuff-up and the room that we had booked was not available. The staff went out of their way to provide a room an other hotel not too far away (of lower quality) and were very apologetic. But after traveling for 25 hours it wasn't great to be told that there was no room at the inn. Not sure if it was a Hotels.com stuff up or by the hotel itself, but not great.

Do NOT book here. The photos are very deceiving. Out the the 50 photos only about 5 are from the room itself the rest are from the lobby. And the photos of the room are cut off so you don't see the problems. The place is old, dirty, and falling apart. It also not a hotel which is what I was expecting. It's more like AirBnB. I don't know how they are listed on Expedia. I was not aware Expedia listed these properties. I don't know how they have a 4.2 star rating. Very disappointed. Place was a disaster with dirty mop, and other cleaning items placed randomly such as broom left in a corner which I suppose as a kitchenette/broom closet, toilet/mop&bucket room, washroom sink/toilet brush/cleaner holder. Place was dirty with thick dust and either Ikea furniture that was falling apart or 2 nd hand items that were picked up from the street after they were thrown out. After the 2nd day it started to smell like sewer water. I figured it would go away but after 2 days of dealing with the stench. I called Expedia to check out early. They agreed with me but the owner has yet to refund me the balance of the stay. Very unethical owner, does not answer phone or emails.To post a listing in this condition is fraud/false advertising. Once again, DO NOT BOOK HERE!

We are operating our Boutique Hotel for 5 years with great success and reviews ( as you admitted ). Our facility is exactly as it is shown at the photos and we are very happy that our guests enjoy their stay . Your review is unserious and invalidated, that's why you didn't put your name and you made it anonymous. Expedia shouldn't let anonymous reviews to exist.

Good but 1 bad point in honesty of hotel staffs
About good points, the room was very wide and clean. and very near to many historical monuments and shopping area. And also the replies from the hotel staffs are very quick before and during my stays. About 1 bad point, I selected this apartment because the hotel staff explained to me that this building has the washing machine for clothes, but after starting my stays, they announced me that the washing machine can't be used because of COVID19. They should have explained to me about it before my stays.

Awesome location
Really nice, spacious place about 50m from Monastiraki Square. They were very accommodating to our late arrival and I couldn't have been happier with my stay here, would definitely book again.

Pleasantly surprised to find such a spacious accommodation right next to one of the busiest part of Athens. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Host usually respondes to communication within minutes.

Cute studio on secret rooftop
Great location & cute studio apartment right at the top of a small apartment building. We booked really late & easily found the place, we’re given good instructions for access. It’s in the perfect location in Psyri right near Monastiraki square & metro station.

Good location -everything functional
Great location/ access to main touristic landmarks. Proper self check-in/out instructions. We scheduled taxis with them from/to airport, super nice and welcoming drivers, excellent service. Ground floor loft in an old building, good efforts to refurbish as much as it was possible. Very spacious (we were 4) good quality bed and beddings. The place has 3 couches but not too comfty and specially not for having anyone sleeping on them. 1 large bathroom w/good water pressure and temperature settings (towels, toiletries) A/C worked fine (a bit difficult to adjust) and it was needed since you could feel humidity in the air. Service will not show up if you don’t ask for it, so use the sign. We had no intentions/time to cook, but it seemed to be fully equipped. The cleaning was impecable in all areas but the fact there were big roaches (we killed 5!) in the kitchen made me doubt about it and sort of ruined the stay for me. We informed the admin, he apologized and said he’ll get on it. Hopefully it’s taken care of and people can enjoy a good place for a reasonable amount of money, seems Athens accomodations in the central area can get real expensive and not necesarilly offering good quality.

The loft was very large and accommodating! My friends and I were very comfortable and happy with the space and the location of the unit. Our host was very welcoming and they even let us check in early because no one else was there before us. Overall it was a great experience. Wish we could have stayed there longer!
