Loved the Authentic Experience!

What a delightful hostel with ryoken style rooms and a beautiful onsen. The views were also wonderful of the sea! Great service, great place and accessible to the train station, too!

Always look for this place

Third time of staying in Atami and also third time in Guesthouse Megumi. Fantastic location - try to book when the fireworks festival is on in mid-July, as you get a fantastic view from the rooftop terrace. The private rooms are simple with shared bathroom/toilet, but that doesn’t bother me. Will stay here again for sure.

Good place for leisure trip or honeymoon

A spacious room with sea view. Common dining room comfortable with lots of choice of drinks and sea view. Onsen wonderful. Owner is very nice and can speak mandarin. Close to train station, though needs to climb up a steep alley.

This is a very basic place. Elevator is inop. Good luck to you if you are on the third floor with luggage. Annoying that you cannot check in before 3pm strictly. Not even to put your bags inside your room. Walls are paper thin so if you have noisy people next door. You won’t get any sleep.

La propiedad es poco empática con el huésped. En un primer momento desee anular la reserva ya que no me había fijado en la distancia a Hakone y no me lo autorizaron, en una segunda reserva caso me equivoqué de dia y me costó mucho trabajo que me cancelaran ya que tenía dos reservas para un mismo día. Por último trataron de cobrarme 1000y, ya que salí unos minutos después de las 10am. ¿Trabaja el personal de recepción 24/7horas? Si es así, sería normal que estuvieran cansados. Origato.
