Lakefront home with private beach & unbelievable sunsets on Lake Keowee

“The 808 on Lake Keowee” offers the opportunity to melt away all levels of stress with one of the best panoramic views of Lake Keowee. It is also the absolute best spot on Keowee for fishing! We have underwater fishing lights that bass and catfish love!This home is a quiet escape but only minutes away from dining and shopping and just a short drive to the Clemson University campus. This professionally decorated house is perfect for spring/summer vacations, attending Clemson University activities, viewing the changing leaves in the fall, and snuggling up to the calmness of the lake in the Winter. A private beach area and magnificent sunsets are guaranteed to please.

The dock is an ideal area to experience a serene, early morning quiet time, as well as the opportunity to witness a "front row" view of a sunset containing colors of pink, purple, and blue. A covered porch with a television offers the perfect place to grill and relax in the evenings, after a fun day on the lake.

The master bedroom with a king size bed, offers the calming view of the smooth early morning lake scene. Bedroom 2 offers a queen size bed that is comforting and relaxing, with an attached bathroom. This home has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. A custom bar area is the perfect place to keep your beverage ingredients as you enjoy your time at "The 808". The stairs lead to a spacious loft area with both a queen size and a full size bed . This loft is a nautical-themed area for kids, as well as adults, to have their own space. Both loft beds have a great lake view. The custom made, well-stocked kitchen, meets the needs of fixing a picnic basket for your day on the lake, as well as preparing dinner as you enjoy a relaxed evening.

Lake Keowee Marina and Tiki Hut are within view of the backyard and just a short boat ride away. The Lighthouse Restaurant is a 15 minute boat ride that offers an indoor restaurant for nice dining, as well as an outdoor area for dining that is more appropriate for your fun lake day attire. If you choose, you can spend a day hiking to several locally-known waterfalls that are just a short 20-30 minute drive.

We had a fantastic stay for a couple weeks on the lake. The hosts were very personable and there was great communication to make sure our stay was comfortable. The views of the lake are amazing!!! This home is wonderful and offers all the amenities to provide a relaxing time away.

This property is amazing! The neighborhood is beautiful and extremely well kept. The lake frontage and view are incredible. The condition of the property and communication with Sherry were both top notch. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay again. If I Could I’d Buy It!

This newer home is super-clean, has a fantastic view not blocked by trees, easy lake access and superb host! Upon entering I was wow’ed by the view. Beautiful inside and out, and it’s like you’re right on the water looking through the tall A-shaped windows. The view is also gorgeous from the kitchen, living room, loft sleep area and master. All furnishings new and clean, in good condition. No steep hills! Decks are furnished, comfy and roomy. The water at the dock is just right for swimming, paddle boarding or kayaking since its a small but wide cove just off the main lake. There are some yard and water toys, you may want to bring some floats to hang out in the water. The slide is fun for those with skinnier-hips (kids). The firepit is next door, not for this house. The “beach” area was smaller than shown—lake higher during our July 2023 visit, but still can walk on the sandbar to the little island. Lots of mica and some exoskeletons for the kids to find! Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Hubby loved it too, would choose this one again. He’s more succinct, with 3 words: Scenic convenient comfortable
