We enjoyed our stay! Very pet friendly house with just enough amenities for a short stay in Asheville. Easy access to all of Asheville and a great coffee shop not too far away.
Small house, but exactly what we needed. High privacy fence which was great to just let the dogs out. Very clean and easy checkout process. Accidently left an item in the home and was promptly notified and was easy to get back. Would highly recommend and woukd stay if in the area agan!
We had a fantastic stay!! The house was very cute and clean. The location was great and the hostess was super responsive. 10/10, would recommend and we would totally stay here again.
The home was charming, clean, and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early the next morning, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would've liked. It's located on a reasonably busy street for the area, which didn't bother us, but it's something to note for those who might be interested. The owner was a joy to work with.
My family and I enjoyed are stay at the Bungalow! The host is very accommodating on letting us have an early check in and late check out for our toddler! There was also a nice backyard fenced in for our dogs to play in! Would definitely stay again
This was an excellent mountain getaway/stay...The Host was easy to get a hold of and excellent...Was able to accommodate an earlier check in as well...The house was super clean and taken care of and excellent outside fire pit...Would recommend to anyone!
This was a good option for us to stay, while attending a family reunion in Asheville. We didn’t spend much time at the house, but it was perfect for our family of 3 and our 2 dogs. We did go for walks by the river and visited a nearby pirate playground that our daughter loved. We would stay here again!
This house is an adorable gem right outside of Asheville. It was far too cold for us to walk around any, so I can’t speak to the walkability of the area. However, the house has everything you could need. We stayed here over thanksgiving and it felt like we were stepping into a well stocked relatives home. Everywhere you want there to be a hook or coaster or box of tissues, there is one. There are even noise machines in the rooms already to block out the road noise which was appreciated. My two kids fit perfectly fine in the guest room and the chalk wall is a great bonus for kids. The master is incredibly well sized and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is small admittedly but was fine for the four of us. Our pet was very at home with the backyard as well. We had a great thanksgiving week at this home and would recommend it to others looking for hotel alternatives on an Asheville trip.
Easy check in and overall nice place. Didn’t realize it was on a busy street so it was a little noisy. That really was ok with us. Was clean except there was a pot of coffee (full) left behind. We decided to sleep in the back bedroom as it was less noisy but the sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. There was human and dog hair on the sheets.
The place was nice and very well air-conditioned with a couple of significant cleanliness issues: there was animal hair all over the bedspread in the master bedroom despite house rules about no pets on the bedding, and the shower curtain is overwhelmingly mildewed. We didn't need to communicate with the host, but with all the other positive reviews, I'm certain she would have been responsive and attentive. The space is very nice, and a great location.
Cozy and stylish home convenient to Downtown Asheville!
We had the best stay at Jennica’s gorgeous and comfortable home! The bed and living space was super comfortable, and I loved the elegant and cozy vibe of the decor. The backyard is just lovely — fully enclosed privacy fence, perfect for our pup. The fire pit and ample supple of wood was also a great feature. We really enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire after a day of fun in Asheville!
The location of this home was very convenient for us. It’s close to many of the attractions we enjoy. We also loved getting the chance to try out some new places along the river (after having spent most of our time during prior visits in Downtown Asheville). We loved Zillicoah Brewery, White Duck Tack Shop, and the High Five coffee shop — all with serene views of the river.
Many thanks to Jennica for sharing her lovely home with us! We will absolutely be back!
We had a great stay in this home. Fenced in back yard and fire pit where great. We didn't cook so did not pay much attention to the things in the kitchen. House smelled great and was very clean. It warmed up nice and quick as well. Good space. Only couple of issues were the bedspreads were a bit odd and the beds and pillows not super comfortable. It was a great location but right off a road and the parking was on a hill which wasn't a problem since we only had one car but if you had more it would be tricky. The traffic noise was loud since it was right off the road but not a ton of traffic at night. Jennica was very responsive and helpful!
Really cool house with great decor. Close driving distance to downtown Asheville, River Arts District, and the mountains. The backyard area was great for hanging out while the weather was nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. We appreciated the privacy of a stand-alone house with quiet neighbors.
