Arta Bridge - A bridge over the Arachos River in the city of Arta. The construction of the bridge dates back to the era of Despotat, but the current appearance by 1602. According to legend, every day 60 students and 45 craftsmen under the guidance of the chief builder tried to build a bridge, but it fell every night. Finally, a bird with a human voice told the chief builder that in order for the bridge to stand, he had to sacrifice his spouse. When the wife was walled up, she first cursed, but then finished with blessings.
