Everything about this cabin was perfect for 13 people. 7 adults and 6 children! Beautiful kitchen that looks out to the living room which was nice and cozy! We are planning another trip to this cabin in the summer! Our family made wonderful memories there! Yellow Dog is our favorite place!!
Loved this place so much we're thinking of booking for the summer! The house was the perfect size for my family. We all had our own space and beds. Everything is well kept and clean and check in was easy peasy. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!
Stayed here in December with a group of friends and kids. The house was clean and spacious. Super convenient location right off the highway. ~30 min drive to Bear Valley. Would definitely recommend.
We celebrated my Father’s birthday. He lives in Sonora but his kids flew us to celebrate his 85th birthday at the rental. The rental had all of the space and amenities needed!
Excellent property for our family reunion. Good location in center of village, generous living room, well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds (in main rooms -- bunk beds are bunk beds). Quick response from rental agency when we didn't understand the A/C system. We would return.
We stayed with 3 families and the house had the perfect layout. Everything is clean, well maintained and of good quality. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious and the bedrooms cozy.
We were pleasantly surprised to find the driveway cleared in the morning after heavy snowfall overnight! Thank you!
This house was amazing. We stayed with 2 other couples and a few kids. Each room has its own bathroom which was very convenient. The house is very well stocked with all the essentials. Every appliance you could need. Well stocked spice rack.
The only drawback is how close it was to highway 4. It wasn’t a bother in the house or in the backyard but the porch is amazing and we like to sit out there and enjoy that space. Overall 5/5 and we would absolutely stay here again.
My husband and I invited three of our best couple friends to spend the weekend for my 50th. The house was perfect! Each couple had their own room and bathroom, plus a shared bathroom downstairs. (My husband and I each took one of seven twin beds in the 4th/5th ajoining bedrooms - which was also perfect since he snores). The large kitchen and living area were so spacious and comfortable. We would have loved to sit out on the lighted patio and enjoy the propane fireplace, but it was a bit too cold outside for some of us. Close to Murphys - we had fun wine tasting on Saturday. Overall, I highly recommend it!
This house is beautiful and we would stay here again. Large home with lots of space. Driveway was perfect to park our boat. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!
The house was beautiful and accommodated our group so well. We loved the house and would definitely rent this house again. Also long driveway that could accommodate our boat. Kitchen was fully stocked! It was a perfect long weekend!
We were a multi generational family of 10 and had lots of space for everyone. Good sized bedrooms and baths. Kitchen is enormous and after hunting through cabinets we found all we needed.
Close to hiking trails and snow activities. We enjoyed the visit.
The house is large and roomy enough for a big group. There are 5 bedrooms, with one being a walk through room. There are 5 full bathrooms, with one being off the main floor hallway. The kitchen is spacious and had everything in dishes and utensils you could want. We had a great stay here.
Good privacy for all guests. However some guests said their rooms were dusty and some of the kitchen towels smelled musty. "Not clean". I stayed in the upstairs room w the single beds. I didn't see dust, but the bathroom exhaust fan needs replaced
We enjoyed the experience I would say the only shifts I would make is the barbecue did not work outside and we ended up buying propane gas, and the barbecue did not work in your back. Your back yard handle is stiff and I think the backyard could be cleaned up a little bit more for use and it will make the property more attractive.Do we wanna add any photos
We overall enjoyed our time at the Yellowdog property. Positives:- lots of space- comfy beds- great hot water in showers- plenty of plates/utensils for a large group - easy access with door code- nice furniture inside - pretty clean inside - nice walking areas nearby- close to things to do- lots of parking Areas needing improvement:- yard needs work (weeds and general upkeep)- patio furniture was very dirty (table was unusable) - lots of excess stuff that needs to be decluttered (way too much junk in kitchen, some gross pots and pans, so much stuff there was almost no room for our pantry items) - one of the downstairs showers didn’t work (could be why it’s listed as a 4 1/2 bath) - needs a good deep clean (under beds etc) - upstairs “bunk room” is only accessible by walking through twin bed room. That was ok, but we didn’t know that ahead of time. Overall- other than not being able to enjoy a meal outside, we enjoyed our stay. When we needed a couple things, the reality company was very prompt in helping. Minimal toiletries are provided so make sure you bring extra Tp and your own shampoo/soap etc. it’s a great size for multi-family trips since each room has its own bathroom.
