Relaxing holiday in ideal location

My wife and I had a wonderful cycling and walking holiday in Argelès Gazost. The house is in a peaceful location on the edge of the town but just a 5 minute stroll to all the amenities. The house had everything we needed and the grounds provided a variety of areas to sit out, to eat and to enjoy the views.

Fine house close to town center

Let me begin with a word to first-time foreign visitors to the French Pyrenees. This region was never one of the wealthier areas of France. So if you are looking for accommodation suitable for a Russian oligarch on the Côté dAzure, this is not your place. What one finds here is good, comfortable, honest housing close to unspoiled nature. The Pyrenees are nowhere near as developed as the French Alps and , in our opinion, that’s a good thing. With regard to La Balandrette, the reception and location were perfect. The house itself also has many virtues. We especially appreciated the parking garage in high summer, especially on market days when parking and traffic in Argeles-Gazost can be very difficult. The garden spaces around the house were just wonderful. Multiple mountain views with several options for outdoor dining. The house is generously supplied with towels and bedding and the wifi was first-class. We found the upstairs bedrooms to be quite warm during the heatwaves this summer despite the excellent fans provided by the Burgues family. But the house was obviously not originally built with climate change in mind, so you adjust. We used the downstairs bedroom which was pleasant and cool. The only points for house improvement we would cite would be the need to update the plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms, especially the downstairs shower. Overall, an excellent experience, and we would gladly return. Highly recommended.

Super séjour

Couple avec chien pendant 15 jours. Nous avons passés un très agréable séjour. La maison est un peu vieillotte mais assez bien équipée avec un jardin plein de charme et bien agencé. Localisation parfaite, proche du centre d'Argelès-Gazost avec tous les commerces mais calme et énormément de choses à faire (montagne, lacs, balades, villes) dans un périmètre de moins de 100 km. Vacances réussies dans une région magnifique!

Gite agréabe au calme

Séjour entre amis de 12 jours. Agréable maison idéale pour 2 couples. Jardin bien fermé, terrasse agréable pour brozer tranquillement. Petit bémol : les ustensiles de cuisine sont à remplacer

Idéalement située pour la rando et proche de tout!

Maison atypique et chaleureuse avec un très bel extérieur pour les repas et pour notre golden. Nous avons pu partir tous les jours pour randonner. Quelques parcours en partant à pied mais la plupart à quelques km en voiture pour des ascensions vers des lieux magiques! Le centre du village est à côté à pied avec un très beau marche. Nous avons BEAUCOUP apprécié l’emplacement stratégique, calme et à la fois tout près du centre-ville, beaucoup apprécié aussi les terrasses et espaces de verdure privés de la propriété. Mais, très vive déception au niveau de la propreté.

Séjour à Argelès Gazost

Mon épouse et moi-même avons redécouvert cette belle région des Hautes Pyrénées. Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison typique qui a été rénovée et qui offre tout le confort nécessaire à un agréable séjour. Située à 200 m du centre ville et de ses commerces, elle offre un calme et une vue sur les montagnes très appréciables. L’accueil a été très amical, à l’image de la gentillesse des gens de la région. Un excellent séjour au final.

Location conforme au descriptif, petit bémol concernant le ménage qui est obligatoire alors que ce n'est pas indiqué ds le contrat de location. Prix réclamé 80€, un peu cher à mon gout

Tout très bien : extérieur très sympa pour jouer au ballon au Ping pong avec le soleil toute la semaine ... Ensuite intérieur spacieux avec télé peu utilisée c'est très bien aussi ... Feu de cheminée... Formidable ! Et au calme ! Accès aux pistes de ski et au centre ville très aisés. Garage nickel pour remorque et voiture ...

Idéalement placée dans un charmant et paisible quartier du centre-ville d’Argelès, chaleureuse location très fonctionnelle avec un agréable jardin et vue sur les montagnes ! Le séjour aurait pu être parfait avec une clim au niveau 2. Très belle maison, mais pas adaptée aux personnes à mobilité réduite (Nombreuses marches hautes) La chambre du rez de chaussé équipée d'un coin toilette-WC serait souhaitable.

Emplacement parfait

Emplacement idéal pour visiter les 3 plus beaux lieux du secteur à voir : pic du midi à environ 1h, pont d'Espagne et cirque de Gavarnie à environ 30min. Centre-ville très proche avec supérette, boulangerie, boucher etc, mais rue du logement très calme. Parking facile sur la place en bas de la rue ou dans le garage. Maison bien équipée.

Bon séjour dans cette maison bien équipée, agréable à vivre et à la décoration très personnelle. Bien située par rapport au centre ville. Organisation de remise de clés parfaite. Un lieu dont le confort nous a fait oublier la pluie.

Maison faite pour l'été

Maison bien placée à Argeles gazost mais le reproche est fort mal isolé donc on a froid et la salle de bain a mi étage est peu agréable l'hiver toujours à cause du froid Table de salle à manger immense et prend trop de place
