"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. "The hostal is very comfortable & clean. We were welcomed by the gentlemen who staffs the hostal, he was very helpful & made us feel very welcome. The beds are very comfortable. We had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. I would recommend the hostal, we hope to make a return visit in the future."

"Amazing rustic place, I call, “a stone village!” Wow. Most pastoral peaceful place I have stayed for a hotel visit. Highly recommended! Wonderful catered breakfast available all morning after 9am. Host offered to make it earlier if we so needed. Super kind! "
