"the room had the most disgusting smell i had to wear my eye mask around my nose with perfume on it bathroom was minimal there is no security anyone could walk in it's older than old and there's an elevator but one your off it you still have to lift ur bags in many places to get to your room and nowhere to park your car couldn't wait to get out of there"

"Hotel is situated on a stunning piece of property. The views from the restaurant / bar and patio area were absolutely gorgeous, with the lake and mountains in the background as well as the properties own little ruin. We spent hours enjoying the views. The location is great, being right on the edge of Killarney National Park. The hotel actually is close enough to hike directly into Killarney National Park. Can walk to Muckross Abbey in about 30 minutes. From there you can walk / hike to Muckross House and Torc Waterfall. Was fairly easy for us to drive the Ring of Kerry and also Slea Head Drive. Were able to take in the views at every meal and the staff always made every effort to seat you right by a window, if possible. The food overall was good to very good, with a fairly expansive breakfast buffet. The room was very nice - clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful. When one of our 3rd party bookings for a boat trip fell through they were able to book us on the Gap of Dunloe tour at the last minute. The tour was great and saved our day. Wish we could have squeezed time to try out the thermal spa. Looked so nice and so relaxing. Parking right at the hotel was nice to have. Couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough."

"Wonderful, luxurious stay. We were looked after so well by the staff who are really attentive, thoughtful and helpful. The concierge, John, was brilliant throughout and ensured we made the most of our time in Killarney. Lunch in the restaurant was delightful, there are fabulous views. Breakfast was a great showcase of local delicious produce and a lovely experience."

"The property is one of the best I’ve stayed at. Fantastic location that is close to everything. Parking space is plenty. The property is beautiful and every room has its own bathroom and shower and the kitchen is very well-equipped. On top of that, Eileen is such a responsive and sweet host. The morning of checking we realized that we never mentioned we have two small children in the family that would benefit from cribs. I messaged her in the morning and when we showed up at the property, she had everything ready, including two cribs, kids toys, kids bathing supplies, training potty, kids books etc. I would highly recommend this property. 10/10!"
