Valerio was communicative and responsive and gave us several recommendations in and around Cetona. We stayed over Christmas and he set up Christmas decorations and a tree which made it feel like a home away from home. He also organized a private chef to come to the villa which was a fantastic experience. Thank you for a fantastic stay. "

"This was the perfect place for hosting a large group. It has lots of space so people in your party can have some down time. It is a rural setting so having a vehicle is a good idea. The host and the manager were very helpful with any questions or requests we had. "

"I would rate this villa between 3 and 4 star. The location of the villa is just perfect with a stunning view! It is located within 7 minutes of the autostrada to Florence and Siena. And there are a lot of nice villages to visit close by. The atmosphere of the villa is cosy and authentic. But it must be said that the kitchen in the upper villa (the other ones we didn't use for practical reasons) and bathrooms are outdated and not very clean. Hot water in some of the showers was not very stable, it varied from very hot to very cold, when you were lucky somewhere in the middle. Also the shower areas were very small and not very clean. The owners were very friendly and always available for help, but were not able to fix the hot water problem in the showers. However we had a great time, the pool area is great with more than enough sunbeds. And the long, covered diner table outside was perfect for our diners and playing board games. So we loved our stay, but in our opinion the kitchen and showers need an upgrade. So I would recommend the villa to a friend because of the location, but would mention our opinion on the bathrooms and kitchen."

"The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the multiple dining areas were so conducive to our large group and the pool and grounds were beautifully maintained. We loved everything about our stay."

"This beautiful Villa from the 1600’s was everything and more than anticipated. Situated right outside of Sarteano, a town we fell in love with. The view from the Villa was spectacular. The grounds were loaded with herbs, fruit trees and lavender. We stayed 6 weeks and it was a great base to visit all of the areas of Tuscany. Great restaurants, bars, and shops with a market on Friday mornings. Fabiola and Raffael became friends that we were very sad to leave. A car is definitely needed as it is down a 1.7 km lane to the villa. Fabiola was a great wealth of information for us to visit the wonderful towns of the region. We never saw a prettier area in Italy and so easy for our guests to get there from Rome to Chiusi where the train station was. Everyone in Sarteano took great effort to handle our requests even though our Italian was very limited. Wineries and olive oil mills there also. It was an adventure that I hope to relive again within the next 12 months. "

"A really nice hotel but significant issues with air conditioning- didn’t work properly when it was on and is turned off for most of the night - not great in early summer in Tuscany with 30 plus temps. Needs to be addressed. "
