The bathroom and washroom were covered with mold. We arrived to piles of trash outside the front door. Even though we were scheduled and had paid for three nights, we left after one night."

"We loved our stay in this traditional Japanese home! Kibana is a beautiful area surrounded by nature. We didn't have a car, but it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the train station, and 20-25 minutes to walk to either A-Coop, MaxValu, or Direx grocery stores. Same for the Lawson, FamilyMart, or 7-11. Aoshima is only a few train stops away. The Kumano staff was great at communicating via email. The use of a bike (with a lock) made trips to the grocery store a lot quicker. Just don't ride at night because there is no light "
