First time using JR Hotel, I am so happy about my decision since those few days south Kyushu was in rainy season, it was pouring outside, I was comfortably walk from train station to JR Hotel. I love the way they control the security of elevators also very convenient locations with coin laundry ! Oh, most important, the room is almost American size, very roomy and comfortable!

This is my second visit, during the first visit, I arrived on storm season, it was very convenient to reach Hotel without even the need to open umbrella. This trip, I will need to take trains and bus running around my stops, the local bus office is also just right at first floor of this JR Hotel, foreign travelers can buy one day 2000 yen/ $8 pass. A mega supermarket is just 5 min walking distance. They have very nice in house breakfast, if your schedule is not rushing out on early morning, $12 per person comes with very impressive buffet!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (3rd week of Nov)and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The room had two beds and a sofa bed, but both beds had the hardest mattresses I’ve ever slept on. I tried the sofa bed on the second night, which was slightly better but still uncomfortable. The air conditioning was centralized, so we couldn’t adjust the temperature at all. Coming from humid Singapore, the room felt stuffy, and we ended up opening the windows just to get cooler air. There were also some maintenance issues — the toilet roll holder was loose, with the nails coming out of the wall. On a positive note, the chambermaids were friendly, attentive, and very service-oriented. Their warm attitude was one of the better parts of the stay. Location is good. Breakfast was exactly the same for all three days, with no rotation or variety. On the first day, the rice was cold. Rice was available on the remaining days, but I didn’t eat it, so I’m not sure if the temperature improved. Overall, the stay was not comfortable, and we won’t be staying there again. I truly hope the hotel improves room comfort, air ventilation, maintenance, and breakfast variety.

Solid hotel at Miyazaki station

Great room, little bigger than expected. Superb location at Miyazaki station. Good breakfast, heater worked great, bathroom kind of spacious with separate tub/shower. Quiet, very clean. Solid hotel.

Good stay overall. Staff can be slightly more friendly and approachable to guest when they need help. Location for the hotel is just next to the Miyazaki train and bus station! Can’t beat that!

Hotel is located next to JR Miyazaki station, no need to worry about rain, just 3 mins walk. Hotel reception is on 8/F, there are dedicated hotel lifts. Room is clean and big. Breakfast buffet is good.

Conveniently located right next to the station. There are enough izakaya, eateries, and fast food at the station. There is a Lawson's next to the entrance, but the Family Mart inside the station has more choices. Lobby is on the 8F so the elevators will always make a stop on 8F going either direction.

This hotel locates beside JR station and bus stop. Good access from/to the airport. Hotel staffs in the reception are friendly. A little away from downtown area ( about 10 mmutes on foot), but there are a supermarket near the hotel ( a few munites on foot), so I did not have any problem.
