"Good hotel kind staff in a great area. We had a good comfortable stay."

"This hotel has the potential to be a lovely experience, but due to years of neglect, the place feels unkempt. Elevator is out of order, and there is no bell boy to assist. This resort is very large and requires a lot of walking and stairs, which is inconvenient with luggage. Litter was not cleaned. The same garbage stayed for days at the bottom of the stairwell. The floors are clearly not swept often, and cleaned even less. The pool was alright, but about half of it has stagnant water which is also not cleaned of debris. The fountain in the pool area is also out of order, and the swim up bar is not in order and is actually crumbling. Room service is also lacking. We had to ask for fresh towels and coffee cups, as these were not provided upon room ‘cleaning’. Our door to our room was somewhat broken, as the latch didn’t function. It had to be locked to close. Our bathroom door simply didn’t close at all, so hopefully if you’re staying here you are VERY close with your roommate. Staff were also generally unfriendly and unhelpful, but did the bare minimum. Overall, we were displeased with our stay given the price, but the location is good. Hotel should consider employing staff to care for the surrounding area as well, as there is garbage everywhere. "

"Rooms were in a tired state and could do with a bit of rejuvenation. Dirty sealant around the wash basin for example. Loud music blaring late night can be heard in building 3, not ideal. The hotel lacks atmosphere in the evening, but this could be to the close proximity of the Landmark Night Market. Staff were polite and friendly! "

"Hotel staff at every friendly. The rooms are a good size (we’re a family of 3). The pools were perfect, one with the flumes and busy a the other was a relaxation pool. It’s well worth paying for breakfast. It has a great selection of food including omelette station , fruits, pastries,Thai food and even ice cream! Great location for the resort and beach (5 min walk) "

"Tidy and comfy little resort the in room pool and rooftop pool were both amazing. The staff is helpful and kind. I would stay here again. Only small negative is there’s no where to unpack and put your things so you’re living out of your suitcase. "

"The room was very basic but all in all it was ok. The bathroom, however, was another story. The shower head holder was broken and didn't hold the shower head up, the water didn't drain, so we were standing in inches of dirty water when showering. No shower curtain or any type of partition so there was water everywhere after showering. The bathroom alone made the whole experience quite gross. The balcony door didn't lock and the curtain holder was broken, which made it hard to open and close. There was a constant bad smell in the room, like blocked drain, which might explain the shower not draining properly. If we needed anything (water, toilet paper), we were told we had to wait until 3pm the next day. The staff were not as friendly and welcoming as we are used to in Thailand, we haven't had this disappointing level of service before so we understand it's not typical for Thailand. On the plus side, the breakfast was good, Palm, the tour guy, was really nice and helped us organise a boat trip and the outdoor aesthetic is very nice. We will not be returning to this hotel unfortunately. "
