"Clean room with AC and mini-fridge. Two water bottles provided daily. Very kind front desk staff. They let us store luggage after check out! Breakfast every day for $1 extra a day. Breakfast included mango yogurt parfaits, thai curry with rice and fried eggs. Massage parlor next door, didn’t go because it was a bit pricy. But there is a 7-11 about 7 minute walk and night market about 8 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and roti a few minutes away. I would definitely stay here again!! "

"We stayed here for 5 nights and had a really great stay, we were a bit nervous after reading some reviews about noise level, but it was pretty quiet for the most part but YMMV.
The A/C unit took a bit to get to the sweet spot and the building was a bit dinged up in spots, but the staff even with limited English was very sweet and accommodating.
If location and price are two of the big checkmarks for you than I think Salty Sand is a good choice. If potential noise and partying isn’t for you...

"Tucked away nicely up the hill, felt very private, quiet and a perfect place to watch the sunset from the private pool on the villa. Even though it’s away from the beach, there are plenty of hotel provided free shuttles, and also just as easy to book a cab with Grab (around 85 baht each way!)
One of the most picturesque places I’ve been, with fantastic views across the whole of the wider Ao Nang area. Would very definitely stay here again!"

Hotel and rooms was very clean and well presented, bed was comfortable and air con not too noisy.
Hotel is in a nice area with plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to the Main Street and pool.
