"The service was exceptional, also the food and cocktails. The place was really well decorated and looked elegant. Apart from one waiter at breakfast being a bit rude giving me the check without telling me no need to rush then saying goodbye to me in a kind of miserable way all staff delivered exceptional service. "The hotel is a little tired and could do with a bit of tlc in some areas. But overall it’s a great hotel in fantastic surroundings. It’s peaceful clean and comfortable. Will definitely book here again if we are needing to stay in this area. "
"Nice hotel, spacious and comfortable room. I do think they need to get the maintenance guys in though, one of the lifts didn't work and the other was hit and miss. Also I noticed one of the toilets was out of action. Had a problem in the restaurant too. I ended up ordering food twice and getting charged for it twice due to an online ordering error. The staff were however very helpful and made sure the duplicate order was cancelled and the charge credited. The staff were really helpful and pleasant and the food was OK. Breakfast had the usual choice of items but was pleasant."
