"Staff were excellent and the breakfast provision was also very good. The room was ok and a decent size. The cold tap wouldn’t move atall though when we tried to have a bath. We had to run cold into the bath through the showerhead. Plenty of parking though which was also free which isn’t a given everywhere anymore. "

"Stay was ok for price paid however is dated and tired especially bathroom area, needs general maintenance, re grouting, paintwork etc. Breakfast was poor, basically cereal and toast, paid extra for cooked breakfast which was small and nothing special. It wasn't the worst hotel I have stayed in but I wouldn't return. Shame as the building and grounds are incredible. "
