"First of all, I fell in love with Arezzo as soon as I started walking into the old town from the train station. Arezzo is a magical village and gives you the real Tuscan experience. It is not very touristy, not too crowded, and the architecture and neighborhood is so beautiful and charming. The food is out of this world and cheap! As for Antiche Mura, what an exquisite, cozy, chic, and yet old experience. The host gave me instructions how to enter the hotel and where my room key was placed. Entering the room, I was delighted at the juxtaposition of antiquity and modernity. The room was clean and very cozy and every time I had to go back to my room, I just felt like I was home. It was quiet and peaceful and I slept like I was in a crypt. I woke up hearing the beautiful church bells chiming. I urge everyone not only to visit Arezzo if you want an authentic Italian experience, but to stay at Antiche Mura."

"The rooms are incredibly designed with a minimalistic style within an old and beautiful ancient building. The convenient bar downstairs was a refuge for great Italian coffee and pastries. Best of all, Ricardo and Marco took such excellent care of us from start to finish, they made the stay a true luxury."

"We had an amazing experience! To start, the accommodations were an actual work of art! Stephano spent years lovingly restoring it to a masterpiece. Next, we took a cooking class where we had a ball making eggplant, ravioli, tiramisu, etc. It was so fun and delicious and we had enough food to eat for the rest of our stay! Finally, we went on a wine tour with Stephano that was so special because we could experience the day with a local! We are hoping to return and stay for longer! It’s a great place to stay and experience Tuscany! Love love love this place!"

"The most prominent feature of this hotel is the terrace, what a fabulous view! The staff were very helpful and friendly, showing the Gym which is slightly hidden away behind the bar and the large relaxing public lounge. There is a wide offer for breakfast in a large room which I think is underused. It would for instance be a great place for a reception or other formal gathering."

"We had such a wonderful stay in Arezzo. The property was in a great location, just a few steps away from everything. Gianfranco was a great host, he’s easy to communicate with, very attentive, and made sure we’re comfortable. His property was clean, spacious and safe. Breakfast was good :) We will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this beautiful city."

"I could not ask for a better host-easily reachable when I was confused about the door lock, was flexible when I needed to access the apartment early, was helpful in finding a place to store my luggage. Also, the apartment location is wonderful— short walk from the train station and easy access to the heart of town.It might be helpful to know that there is no kitchen sink or stove. The only potential for cooking is a microwave. The only sink in the apartment is in the bathroom. However, there is a small refrigerator for storage and a small coffee machine. You will need to provide your own water for the machine. It is also helpful to know in advance that the apartment is on a noisy street. We were there on a Friday night, and noise subsided at 01:00. Ear plugs were helpful. I don’t say this to complain, but to help others prepare."
