Step back in time in Arezzo

This is a quirky spot in a building where attention has been paid to every aspect of the design. The room was interesting and comfortable with the only slight downside being that the bathroom is separated by a curtain rather than a wall which is not to everyone’s taste. It’s in a great location in a stylish shop and cafe and an interesting, historic palazzo. I would definitely recommend

Incredible Hospitality and Stylish Stay

I can’t say enough about the exceptional hospitality we received from Marco during our stay. He went above and beyond, always ready to help us with anything we needed, from booking e-bikes for our adventures to making reservations at fantastic local restaurants. His warmth and willingness to assist truly made our trip special. The hotel itself was immaculate – incredibly clean, stylish, and modern, with a cool vibe that made it stand out. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed, and it really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Understated luxury stay in the center of Arezzo

Don’t let the name confuse you, this charming boutique stay is affiliated with the high end store of the same name, and it is Sweet!!! Marco the manager is professional, friendly and is more like a personal concierge helping to make arrangements, reservations and suggestions to enjoy your stay in Arezzo. Sugar Rooms has a delightful bar/cafe with delicious light fare, but you are steps to everything in the center of town. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless and the bathroom is zen. I especially loved the restrained decor which allows the original architecture to shine. The AC in the room was very cold and did not disappoint. If you are looking for a small town in Tuscany to explore or be your base, Arezzo and Sugar Rooms were a very pleasant surprise.

Marco was an excellent manager. Our stay exceeded our expectations. We made our reservation one day ahead to avoid a train strike. Marco allowed early entry as well as extended checkout. And his local recommendations were superb.
