"We had a beautiful room with a plunge pool and wood deck out to the water. Stayed in an overwater bungalow. Staff was superb! Be prepared for sticker shock at the restaurants. A beer is $15, most entrees start at $40. We were disappointed that you get charged an extra $14 for room service, making our order of a pizza and two beers over $100. Yikes! We do have the money, yes. But when you’re already paying over $2000 per night, it feels like gambling gauging. Also, no breakfast options other than the $50 buffet. Overall, it’s been wonderful. "

"Compact resort with lush landscaping. Had a banana tree right outside our door which set the right vibe. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. On-site restaurant with good food and reasonably priced for the area. Breakfast was included which was very good. Private beach, well maintained, good for snorkling and swimming in the lagoon. Overall, the Hotel Royal Bora Bora is a great value and has the near perfect vibe for a Bora Bora getaway. I would highly recommend. "

"We loved being over the water and able to get in and out of the water so easily. We had plenty of space for dive and snorkel gear. It was very peaceful to sit on the deck and watch the boats and fish. One night a manta ray swam by. The host was helpful and when we had a couple of issues he managed to get them resolved very quickly. Great trip. "
