Location, location, location. Just minutes to walk to all the major art museums. Trams just a block away. Great restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance. Friendly staff and excellent service. I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and in a quiet but in close proximity to museums and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of healthy choices. My room was a bit small but quiet cozy. I would stay there again.

Great area near Museumplein and reasonably priced. The fire alarm system went off for no reason and the staff weren’t quick to respond.

Friendly and accommodating staff and convenient location. Rooms were quirky and cute, a little small but had everything you needed and were very clean. Stairs were super narrow and hard to walk on (classic Dutch stairs) and the elevator was a little scary, but otherwise very lovely.

The place itself is cozy and nice. The staff was quite inexperienced: we asked about where to park our car and they sent us to the most expensive place possible. Also didnt know basic things about where to pay a public parking. Also made quite a few errors while staying, like not taking us into account for breakfast when we had asked them to, etc etc. They were nice but inexperienced. This hotel doesn’t change/clean rooms everyday, just every 2 days, which wasn’t good for us as we had a baby. Also the room walls are too thin and we could hear neighbours at night talking loud. We were trying to rest and keep the baby asleep and it wasn’t easy. The shower water was warm but NOT hot, which also wasn’t nice. The breakfast for 13 euro was great and the location is very walkable to all the museums and everywhere in central Amsterdam.

Tired and dirty common area. Breakfast was quite limited. Small room was extremely small. Bin not emptied and sheets not changed during housekeeping visit. Expensive for the service delivered.

Dear Theodore, Thank you for staying with us and your feedback. My apologies about the inconvenience during your stay. The price of the buffet is 13.50 euro when you book it in advance. We do not have a full kitchen in the hotel which makes that we are limited in providing the options on our buffet. Housekeeping is changing your sheets after the 4th night and cleaning the room once in the two days. I'm sorry that this didn't meet your expectations. Actually unbelievable location. 20seconds from... Van Gogh museum, MOCO, House of Bols, Rijk museum. Vondelpark is 2 minutes away from museums. Directly behind the hotel is the "Rodeo Drive" of asmterdam with every luxury brand imaginable. Which also means that every parling space around has beutiful porches, rolls royces, mercedes. When travelling on a budget it just felt extra special to be staying in such a bougie and clean neighbourhood when counting pennies and using coupons :D Then 1 block behind the rodeo drive, is the best food and bar district called the Leidisplein. Canals and character just oozing from every street and corner bere. Everhthing from Argentinan Steak houses, Romatic italian spots, late night waffles and shakes, and plenty of authentic dutch resteraunts and breakfast. The location is actually sooo good its hard to overstate just how many things are within a 5 minute walk. Staff were so nice, helpful and knowledgable. The location is literally unbeatbale if you want to spens your time at the best museums in Amsterdam. The tram station at museumplein is again, 30seconds from the front door and its a 5-10 minute tram to the Amsterdam Central station on the tram.

The hotel has a nice lobby and was generally in a good condition, and everything was very clean. Only spoke to staff at check in and check out but they were very nice. I had read other reviews that said the rooms were small, and this was true but as a solo traveller the room size itself was absolutely fine. The 1 star loss I would say is for the bathroom because this absolutely is too small. You will always hit your head or your shoulder or your knee on something, with shelves on each side of the bathroom at shoulder height, the door stopper at head height and the sink is immediately in front of the shower. I managed, but the bathroom was noticeably too small and uncomfortable to use. I would also say I am alright at sleeping through noise so wasn't personally bothered too much, but the walls and floors are incredibly thin, so if the sound of voices or footsteps keep you up this could be an issue. Great location, super walkable, nice aesthetically, but just because of the bathroom I either wouldn't stay again or would look at upgrade options.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Elevator was out and they offered drink vouchers for inconvenience which was appreciated. Room was small but fit our needs perfectly. Not super sound proof and could hear noise from hall and other units but surrounding area was quiet and we didn't have issues with the little bits of noise we did hear from other hotel occupants. Hotel staff was always very kind and helpful. Property and room were clean and we enjoyed the decor and atmosphere a lot. Easily walkable to museums, restaurants, and multiple transit options. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

Excellent location as a base for exploring Amsterdam on foot. Room was stylish and clean, but very small. Very little storage space, but adequate for short stay. Rather dangerous step in middle of room. Beds also quite narrow, but otherwise comfortable. Bathroom tiny. Very noisy on Saturday night. Could hear speech in room above, and knocking on the next door in the early hours.

I had a great stay here. Very clean and good, walkable and easy access to public transport. Quiet neighborhood. Only downer was the elevator broke on our 3rd day and we were on the 3rd floor. The stairs are typical for the city but made it difficult to get our bags down. Front desk staff were awesome and carried down my friends suitcase. I would stay here again

I absolutely love this hotel, especially for quick trips to Amsterdam. This is my second time staying at this hotel and I’m so happy with my experience. Bed is comfortable, room has everything that you need (love the fan) and the staff is every friendly. Love the breakfast options too, the area around the hotel is perfect as well. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The vibe of this hotel is great! The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but are packed with everything you need. Check-in was easy. The hotel itself is sandwiched between the Rijk Museum and the designer shopping district which makes it a great spot to explore both culture and shopping. It's also not too far from the popular canals and passing through Rijk Museum makes the walk extra beautiful.

It was a very cute, clean place, the staff was very nice. The room and bathroom was extremely small and cold, the shower was nearly impossible to use because of how tight the space was.

An excellent hotel in the museum quarter in Amsterdam. It was a perfect place for a solo 3-night stay as the room was cozy but extremely comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The foyer lounge is relaxing and the breakfast (not included) was good. Plenty of hot water and room temperature can easily be adjusted as you like. A perfect, small boutique hotel for a solo traveller.

Stayed for a week and had a pleasant stay. My chosen room was geared towards the single traveler like myself. Affordable smaller room like most in Europe that I’ve stayed in. Definitely plenty of space for me. 2 people may want a bigger room which they offer. Very comfortable double bed. The bathroom was good sized and the shower had plenty of hot water. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and very beautiful with a short walk to several major museums. Tram stops are plentiful near by. Site is clean with a small bar in the lobby and cafe downstairs. IDK if they serve more than breakfast, but I did see people there in the afternoon. Also, I got in 4 hrs early and they held my bag for me so l could roam around and get lunch and such. I recommend Max Brown

Really nice staff and reception. Rooms have been constructed with very thin walls so noise can be an issue, but that will be down to luck. We had a terrible first night (a Friday) with noisy guests in the room next door but the 2nd and 3rd were absolutely fine and quiet until guests start getting up and out in the morning.

The property is nice, not luxurious, but you have everything you need for a short stay. Everything is clean, good breakfast, umbrellas for the rainy weather, there is an elevator for those who would like to avoid steep steps. And the most important - the location is fantastic.

Great location to tourist area museums, tram, dining. Clean room and bathroom. The staff was helpful reserving a taxi to the airport early in morning. Realize that the rooms are Very small. The bathroom and shower are small, but not too bad, they are a bit more roomy than a cruise ship bathroom, so that was good. No AC in our ground floor room, but didn’t need it, since it was not warm weather, and we could open the window which had an iron gated, so no need to worry about security. I don’t know if they have an elevator lift, but the stairs to the hotel and to your room are kinda tight, so be aware if stairs are an issue for you, it was fine for us. Great stay. It is true to what is advertised on the website
