It’s a very unique way to stay in Amsterdam, but we enjoyed it a lot! The staff are lovely and welcoming, as was the breakfast and rooms. The rooms were slightly small - but that’s expected for a boat! It was in a great location, perfect for visiting all the great places in the city.

We enjoyed our stay on this boat. As we own our own boat we completely understand that cabins are smaller than a hotel room; with not much in the way of storage space, but for the amount of time we required a room it was perfect. Staff were helpful and very kind. Breakfast was superb. Everything was within walking distance for the most part and we purchased an IAmsterdam Pass at the tourist office which included public transport so anything further was still easily accessible. Advice to anyone going here is to not let the taxi driver tell you it is not easy for him to access and we could easily walk to the docks. Without luggage there would be no problem but in the dark, in high winds and not really certain about where we should go we had a slightly unpleasant experience in finding the docks initially. Had it not been for some helpful young people we may have gotten quite lost. The taxi driver just didn't want a short trip with a small amount of earning. Had we not been so tired we would have gotten his cab number and reported him but we didn't think about that at the time. Our return journey from ship to train station went without a hitch and the taxi arrived at the dock on time so no hauling heavy suitcases around.

`Thanks for your possitive reaction. And you are right, some taxidrivers are a lazy or only thinking about the euro's. But most of them are OK. The I Amsterdam pass is a good suggestion. Hope to see you again next winter or on a summer trip.

We stood there for 2 nights over New Year’s Eve and enjoyed the time. Really nice Hotelschip and the owner is really friendly. Breakfast amazing and close to the city.

This Hotel was great centrally located and a great atmosphere. Kristoff was our host and he was amazing and made our trip most enjoyable.

Really good experience
I enjoyed the stay at the Hotelschip Sarah. The hospitality is amazing. Coming back to the ship is like coming home. Both host and guest are friendly, probably because our hosts create a light and enjoyable atmosphere. Clearly, this is not just another business/ job for them. Their hearts are in it, and thus they really care for the guests. Breakfast is really good; you can even "taste" the love and care in the food.

We absolutely loved the Sarah and its staff, easy 10 minute walk from Central Station. Clean and friendly and a Great breakfast every morning. Waldy the skipper was nothing less than an excellent host and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. We chose this exact location to capitalize on the New Years fireworks and could not have been happier with our choice.

Overraskende bra på alle måter.
Overrasket over hvor sentralt og stor lugarer med stort flislagt bad på alle lugarer. Enkel men god frokost og kaffe fri hele døgnet. Hyggelig betjening så alt var toppers..-))

Très bel endroit, typique pour un séjour à Amsterdam !! petit déj au top !! Literie impeccable. Proche du centre,10 mn à pied. Je recommande cette péniche pour un séjour.

Superhyggeligt og med meget imødekommende og venligt personale. Morgenmaden var varieret, frisk og lækker. Fin placering tæt på Amsterdam Central Station og generelt bare anbefalelsesværdig, hvis man er til fred og ro og venlige mennesker.

Nur ca 10 Minuten fußläufig vom Bahnhof entfernt, ist die Lage sehr zentral. Man konnte von dort alles schnell erreichen. Der Besitzer war super nett, spricht deutsch und ihm war es wichtig, dass wir mit allem zufrieden sind. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, große Auswahl für ein kleines Hotel. Kaffee, Tee und Obst waren 24/7 verfügbar. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

War super, eine tolle Wahl, so ein ein altes Flussschiff hat schon flair. Auch der nette Herr der die Unterkunft betreut hat war unbeschreiblich nett. Gerne wieder.
