Fantastic property to stay in. Right on the direct tram back into the centre of Amsterdam. The only small criticism is the face there isn’t a lot of storage or hanging space for clothes. Staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Mediocre at best
Expect great design, Nespresso machine in the room and mostly friendly staff. Most of all, a perfect central location minutes away from designer stores and the museum square. However, these are the only positive aspects. The rooms are very small and dark as there is only indirect lighting. The mattress, pillow and sheets were extremely low-quality and uncomfortable. There was NO WIFI during our entire stay. A members of staff told us to come down and use reception WiFi. Nevertheless, after no longer than 10 minutes another staff member told us that they could not allow us any longer in the reception for “safety issues”. The cleaning is below average and the room clearly needs manteinance work (e.g. missing light switch and outlet plug).

Hotel itself is beautifully presented and in a great location within walking distance of all the best parts of Amsterdam. Staff is very friendly and helpful and was always available.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for two nights for our first trip to Amsterdam and really enjoyed it. The location was very convenient for getting around the city, the room had a cozy, cabin-like feel, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend!

The location is good. the rooms are very small, suitable for one person not two, and very dark there is not enough lighting! I thought it was awful that the room was so so dark Also the equipment in the room was a bit insufficient. Not enough pillows, not normal glasses for tea, no refrigerator. The staff was friendly

This property was just ok. We politely requested a quiet room, and got put in the noisiest room, on the front of the property, right by the road, and above the main entrance. The pillows are rock hard, the shower drain was blocked and would flood the bathroom, and little things were broken, like the wall hooks. The bed however is very large, coffee is provided, and the room is a nice design. Overall the stay was okay, but not worth the price. The location is however very convenient.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were lovely. The rooms were small but well-appointed and generally good. The only downside was that some of the maintenance and cleaning, primarily in the common areas, was in need of some attention. For instance, the floor in the main elevator was quite dirty and had an obvious dip in it, like the wood had been water damaged and was giving out. It made us (and others in the elevator with us) joke that we felt we might fall through the floor. Also a few specks of mold/mildew in the shower... no big deal but just noticeable.

The hotel was very modern; small rooms but very functional. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was centrally located near the museum district; easy access to public transportation including a bus line with service to the airport.

Never again! It was our wedding anniversary trip to Amsterdam. We traveled with our 3-year-old daughter. Since the hotel's policy in regards to kids unclear, I called and ask specifically if it was okay to stay with a 3-year-old without an extra bed. A male hotel representative answered that it was totally fine not to book an extra bed for our child. Upon arrival, they asked us to pay for a baby cot (where a 3-year-old doesn't fit) 15 euro per night claiming that it was their safety policy. We had to pay even though we did not use that baby cot. In addition, the mattresses on our bed, which was made of two single beds , were always sliding off. How about that safety issue, managers of the hotel???

One of the best hotels we have stayed in Amsterdam so far! Room was huge and bathroom was amazing! 10/10. The room had a dark, cosy feel to it with minimal natural light - but we loved it. Very clean, so much space to move about, distance from city centre is in walking distance, a long side many other attractions&food places - best location for it! Staff on arrival were very kind & helpful too.

Note: Not all rooms are accessible via the elevator. Normally wouldn't affect me, but I have an untreated hernia. Checked the listings to ensure there was an elevator. My room was only accessible by stairs. Also, the rooms are VERY dark. Otherwise, property is very pretty and staff is excellent

Great location, comfy bed. Great for a short stay.
The hotel is situated in a great position within walking distance to numerous attractions. We stayed in a twin room which was small and cosy and the bed was really comfy after a busy day exploring the city. The rooms are dark with no real natural light getting in and the lighting is dim however from our perspective this did not impact our stay. It appeared from the photos when booking that we would have some outside space through patio doors however on arrival it was apparent that the doors are for emergency use only and no outside space was available. Whilst a little disappointing it did not significantly impact on our stay. The staff are very friendly and willing to assist with all enquiries in a professional manner. Overall, a clean, calm, modern hotel in a fantastic location with a really comfortable bed and friendly staff. Would we stay here again though? For a short stay possibly but if we're returning for a longer stay then we would probably look elsewhere.

Property was great, I was in a ground floor room which had very little natural light. The artifical lighting also wasnt greqt so the room was very dark all the time.

DAVID you rock! he noticed it was my birthday without a word & happier then me! He gave us a short list of places to visit. The hotel & his family are lucky to have his graciousness, he stated the hotel would have a gift for My Bday but the following day a not so pleasant reception lady that afternoon stated it wasn’t something they did. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was great - especially the fabulous shower! We really enjoyed the breakfast - plenty to choose from - pastries, hot food, cereals, fruit, yoghurts etc and unlimited coffee - always important! We found the staff to be really helpful, cheerful and polite. For a few days in Amsterdam, this was a great hotel and really central to everything we wanted.

Great Staff and Good Location
The first night the AC in our room died. The staff were excellent in responding. When it could not be fixed immediately they moved us to a bigger room and gave us 2 complimentary drinks. We would definitely stay here again.
