Great location next to Dam Square. Good sized room, big bed, nespresso machine. Everything you could need is close by, and it's convenient for the main railway station and trams. My second stay here, and would definitely stay again.

The Red Lion is extremely centra to all the City attractions of Amsterdam. The bathroom is "snug" but adequate. Staff were helpful and attentive. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for your visit to Amsterdam.

Hotel Amsterdam was a quiet and clean place to stay with dining right on the premises. Walkable from the train station and central to most activities. I would stay here again.

Overall good. We checked in late due to a delayed flight in Schiphol. Got checked in quickly. Remember that there is a surcharge called city tax which is paid at the counter when checking in. The area can be a bit noisy but it wasn't too bad for us. Our baby was given a comfy cot and slept well. However the service team was not well coordinated and hadn't prepared the cot before we arrived. It took a quarter or so before they came in and set up the cot and sheets. Alla in all a good stay for us.
