Morum City Hotel Chania

Morum City Hotel Chania

10/10 Excellent
"I had a wonderful stay at Morum City Hotel! I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Junior Studio Suite with a huge balcony, which was wonderful for sitting outside in the evenings with friends. The staff were fantastic, from the front desk to the housekeeping team. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast was good, and the location was excellent, with an easy walk down to the harbour. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Ammoudari?
The best area to stay in Ammoudari is along the main beach road, which offers direct access to the beach and the village's amenities.

This area stretches along the Ammoudari coastline. It's very convenient, with a selection of hotels, tavernas, and shops lining the road. You'll find everything you need within easy walking distance, making it ideal for a relaxing holiday without needing to travel far. The beach itself is well-maintained and offers clear waters for swimming.

Couples often find this area great for a romantic getaway. The proximity to the beach means you can enjoy sunset strolls and dinners with sea views. Many hotels here offer rooms with balconies overlooking the Aegean Sea, providing a lovely setting for morning coffee or evening drinks.

For families, the main beach road is also an excellent choice. The gentle slope of the beach and calm waters are suitable for children.
When is the best time to go to Ammoudari?
The best time to go to Ammoudari, Crete, is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures superb for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the intense heat and larger crowds of July and August. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming, and the local tavernas and shops are fully open.

For couples seeking a relaxing getaway, May and October are particularly appealing. The atmosphere is more tranquil, and you can enjoy the natural beauty of the area, like the nearby beaches of Ammoudara and Almyros, with fewer people around. It's an ideal time for leisurely strolls along the coast or exploring the charming town of Agios Nikolaos without feeling rushed.

Families often find June and September to be the sweet spot. The weather is consistently warm, superb for children to enjoy the sandy beaches and calm waters.
