"We would stay again, food excellent, bed comfortable with a great fan.
The pub could do with a tidy, bin bags near the bar and one of the tables being used an office isnt a great look.
The room was functional, slightly tired.

"I loved the hotel, my room was clean, modern and even had a kitchen area.
The owners were very responsive when I contacted them with a question about my stay and they couldn’t have been more helpful.

"The room was rather small but adequate for 2 nights. It was rather a long steep way to get to our room as it was top of the pub and we are oaps! Very noisy on Saturday night but not bad on Sunday. Basically it needs refurbishment. No breakfast available too. "

"As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "Just a 1 night stay. Friendly people and good service. Nice room on the ground floor as I asked. Stairs are narrow so not good for persons with mobility problems. Breakfast was cooked on the spot and very tasty."
"Lovely friendly staff. A beautiful old historic building, but the bedrooms are in the new building. A quiet pool and small steam/sauna rooms - very welcome at the beginning and end of the day. Well maintained and very clean. "
"Parking was free, staff were very helpful and friendly and clean room.. I didn’t have breakfast but it looked good for price! Will be staying here again. Thank you."
