Great outdoor space and lovely scenery at the back

Lovely cottage, compact but enough space for two of us and our furry friend. The outside space was perfect for Sasha. There is some road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping well. A little further from Ambleside than we thought though it is walkable. We would stay here again.

Lovely cottage accomodation, in a beautiful location just 5 minutes drive from Ambleside. Close to all the amenities, yet still peaceful.

Lovely Christmas break near Ambleside

Very cute cottage in a lovely setting with views over the river to the rear. Cottage was clean and. cosy with lovely bathroom and well fitted kitchen. Small fenced private garden with larger shared area to the rear - would be lovely to sit out in summer but we didn’t have the best of weather this time. Only negative for us was that the cottage is on the main road and didn’t feel safe walking along it from the door to Ambleside with the 2 dogs, but plenty of good walks within a short drive. Tip for other bookers would be to write down the key box code before you get there as very little mobile phone service at the cottage and struggled to get the app to load to retrieve it when we arrived

An enchanting experience

Stunning and charming cottage in a beautiful fairy tale location with amazing woodland views to the front and garden and river views to the rear. Warm and cosy laid back feeling made our stay extra special. Amble side was only ten minutes drive away. Will definitely stay there again.

Perfect!

This was the perfect place for a weekend away. Both myself and my partner loved the lake at the bottom of the garden and I was lucky enough to see wild deer. The cottage itself was beautiful and well presented. We'll hopefully visit again soon.
