Small enclosed garden with patio. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Riversdale is a stunning four bedroom, four bathroom detached lodge situated beside a peaceful stream. It has been completely re-furbished and modernised in 2019 and is ideal for large families or groups looking for that idyllic getaway. The property comprises a large living room with a wood burner, formal dining area with ample seating, modern fitted kitchen, a utility room and a downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor are four comfortable bedrooms, each with their own en-suite facilities for added privacy.



    Before you even step over the threshold you have to pause for a moment to take in the stunning backdrop of the surrounding fells. Outside there is a charming garden with seating area. Riversdale comes with its own parking, so you can leave the car and explore one of the many walks that are available right from your doorstep. Just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’, or if you prefer, stay in and relax round the wood burner in the comfortable living room. Either way, you will be refreshed and ready for the next day’s adventure.



    The property has a lovely enclosed garden, perfect for relaxing with a drink as the sun goes down. Shop and pub 500 yards, restaurant 200 yards.

    Riversdale can be booked together with Coach House (ref UK1330) and Grange End Stables (ref UK1331) to accommodate up to 16 guests.

This is our 3rd time staying here this time just me and my wife and 2 small dogs.

This is our 3rd time staying here this time just me and my wife and 2 small dogs. We love the location and feel of this house. 5 minute walk in to the village, the house is warm and welcoming. The enclosed garden is great (no grass) but ideal, sitting areas front and rear we didn't use them on this stay but have previously. The kitchen is well equipped and the overall feel for this property is beautiful also good size bedrooms, all ensuite modern. Parking for 3 cars, we have a large car so perfect for parking up for the week. Looking forward to booking our next stay.

4th time staying here superb property, great location for walking

Superb refurbishment by the new owners, we have stayed here 4 times before and they have upgraded the property and furnished it superbly. Its great location means there are many really good walks straight from the front door.
