"Comfy, clean, spacious room with kitchenette, lovely clean bathroom and a balcony. The apartments are located behind the main drag so are nice and quiet. Nobody at reception when we arrived and room not ready so we had to busy ourselves elsewhere for a few hours. Thought we were paying by card on line but seemingly not - ended up paying in cash at the owners request. Overall - room really nice; service not bad but not great."

Top Amari Dam Reservoir Hotel Reviews

Nautilux Rethymno by Mage Hotels

10/10 Excellent

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and facilities in the hotel were excellent. Breakfast had plenty of variety and good quality. We had a lovely 10 night stay and would come back in the future."

Kapsaliana Village Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel created from abandoned village in the hills behind Rethymno. Gorgeous location and top notch accommodations. Breakfast was very good, and we had a great meal one night at the restaurant there. Wish we had stayed longer..."

Villa Garifallia - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 6

8/10 Good

"Lovely quiet location and very comfortable villa. Our only issue was finding the place because Google maps kept taking us into Maroulas village, and up narrow alleyways that were impassable by car. It was also dark. The owner hadn't given us any local instructions sadly. Other than that, we had a lovely stay, and the beaches on the south coast are beautiful. To help anyone staying there in future: Coming from the coast road, take the right hand turn about 30m after the petrol station. It is v hard to see, even in daylight, and is narrow, but this takes you directly to the villa."

Villa Pelagos - Five Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 10

10/10 Excellent

"All in all, we felt very well looked after at the villa. The view of the sea and mountains, as well as the sunrise from the two balconies, is stunning. Anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday with a touch of luxury has come to the right place. Frank Husemann and friends say thank you for a wonderful holiday."

Teacher Cottage - Three Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 8

10/10 Excellent

"A great place for a relaxing holiday in Crete. The villa was clean, well equipped and had plenty of space, and we really enjoyed the pool and outdoor BBQ area."

Villa with private pool & sea view for absolute privacy and serenity.

10/10 Excellent

"Everything about Harkia villas was as good as we hoped, from the excellent reception of the hosts through to the cleanliness and the facilities. The villas are in a quiet peaceful location, perfect for those wishing to escape the crowds in the resorts and a car is essential (some may find the road up a little challenging). For me, a perfect location to relax but also to explore the region as we wished."

Villa Asimenia - Five Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 12

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent location to stay during vacation. The house and the pool exceeded our expectations."

Spacious villa with full privacy & nature views!

10/10 Excellent

"One of the best experiences we’ve had. Especially, the concierge service was outstanding. Villa was very clean, nothing broken or “heavily used”. Beds were also very comfortable. Kitchen had everything needed and now they also own a sandwich toaster. The pool was very very refreshing, which was a bit unexpected and view from pool is absolutely stunning. Also the personal contact with the host was always quick und transparent. Overall, a very good experience."

Villa Astro - Four Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 8

10/10 Excellent

"Such a lovely host. We had a couple of things we needed to speak to him about and he was there straight away. Very polite and helpful."
