"The hotel location is fantastic, very peaceful, with well kept and beautiful grounds. Food is excellent, staff and service equally so. Whilst the rooms are basic ours was very clean and the swim up pool, whilst shared with two other rooms, felt private. We had a wonderful ten days all inclusive, which was excellent value. We'd 100% return! Not a place to go if you're bothered about watching television 🙂"

The only complaint would be that dinner at 2 of the 4 restaurants felt a little like a conveyor belt where the priority seemed to be getting us fed and out as quickly as possible rather than having us enjoy the dining experience. "Hotel is quite a distance from Heraklion town. There is a daily bus, Monday to Saturday only. Fares are reasonable. Approx 4 Euros per person. On the 9am service you must come back on the 2pm bus. The second service is 2:45pm you are able to get to town, but are responsible for finding your way back to hotel after this. Taxi fare is approximately 40 euros. The hotel scenery is good. As it is a village style, there is a handy mini bus that can take you to and from the various amenities. Recommend sea view rooms and all inclusive package. Dining room - Spacious and clean with plenty of delicious food options. Found staff were friendly, approachable and super helpful. If you get the opportunity to visit the a la carte restaurant which is above the main dining area, there is a good menu and service in this restaurant is excellent. I would stay here again at some point in the future."

"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"

"We booked a room at the last minute. There will a little mix up upon arrival but the hotel upgraded us and bought us dinner to compensate us. Honestly, there was no need. The hotel was fabulous and the staff could not have been friendlier. The beach area was perfect and exactly what we wanted during our time in Greece. Rethymno is a lovely town and not nearly as busy as Chania, which made a huge difference. We would definitely go back to this hotel."
