Spent two weeks in Japan and stayed at 4 hotels. This hotel was the best of the 4 I stayed in. Clean and nice. Feels like you’re in a new apartment. The location was perfect as well. Close to so many great places in Kyoto. If I had to do it again I would have stayed here longer.

The hotel is beautiful!! I loved the attention to detail with how items were laid out and hidden in plain site. We were also able to move the beds to make the room better for our needs. We found the room spacious and the beds were comfortable. The view of the city, from our room on the 29th floor, was amazing. The spa was magical. You are provided water, fridge, slippers, pj's,body scrub and great quality shampoos, conditioner and lotion.
The room has an open concept plan where you can block the visibility into the shower. My one complaint is the shower is only blocked on one side and you enter the room via the closet/bathroom, leaving the shower/person exposed. I would definitely book this hotel again. Just be mindful of bathroom limitations regarding who you travel with.
