"The cottage was very clean and of a high standard. Our host cane to see us the first evening that we were there. Beds very comfortable. We had a bit of trouble with the thermostat and couldnt get any hot water on the morning that we left so we could not have a bath or shower."

"On arrival it was a bit dark. No lightning to cabins. I think maybe solar lightning or something!! Stepped into cabin it was nice and warm as picked the coldest night of the year so dar to turn up. Host left lights on so we could see inside. Bathroom was great, double bed comfortable nice thick duvet as it was cold. Kitchenette was just the right size for the cabin. The downfall i would say is the water pressure in the shower. I get it no power shower as it's mains fed. But overall stay we enjoyed it and wiuld love to do a summer visit in the future. Communication with the host was excellent. "

"I expect that no one from Expedia had visited this 'hotel' basically a pub with four rooms. They were tired, decoration poor, carpets grubby, toilet was noisy (Macerator) no breakfast options at all and very expensive, £95 per room!"
