"This hotel is beautiful and the only place to stay in Rivas. Room was comfortable, pool was amazing. The attached restaurant is only okay, level of customer service doesn’t match the hotel at all. Food was ok, but not great. "

"It's a really beautiful property with amazing rooms. There's a new infinity pool area that faces the Pacific Ocean and the skyline (including the statue) of San Juan del Sur. The breakfast spread in the morning is amazing! I also liked the dinner options (pizza night on Wednesday and fresh mahi mahi from the coast)."

"Note: it is far from the beach. You will need a taxi to take you to and from the beach. Which is around $20 round trip. All the restaurants and stores are at the beach. BUT other than that, the resort is amazing. I’d say spend a day at the beach because that’s all you really need. The resort has a nice pool, bar, skatepark, gym and restaurant. The room is comfortable. Nice shower, cozy bed. AC. No bugs or dirt. "

"Solo female traveler here. Let me just start by saying if you want to do more fun hostel partying, stay near the little volcano. If you’re here to chill and take it easy. Stay around big volcano. Unless you have a moto or car. The area around has everything you need. Restaurants both touristy and local, groceries, cafes, tour guides, etc. I felt safe and entertained but most of the activities I had to use a moto (or find a guy who had a moto haha) The room itself was very nice. No bugs or dirt. A good AC (if you hear weird noises at night, it’s most likely AC or birds on top) nice shower. The staff was helpful, all of them were very nice. The tipico food was very good. Those ladies are wonderful cooks :) I’d stay here again if I wanted a relaxing island vibe. "

"Personal muy amable, area restaurante lindo, piscina linda, vista espectacular. Habitacion familiar de 2 habitaciones estaba muy por debajo de todas las otras habitaciones, se sentia muy descuidada y abandonada lo que fue una lastima "

"A nôtre arrivée la chambre semblait propre mais avec une forte odeur à désinfectant, il a fallu que j'ouvre les portes et la fenêtre de la toilette pendant quelques heures pour que l'odeur se dissipe un peu, cependant le ménage n'a pas été fait pendant nôtre séjour de 3 nuits! Mêmes servillettes et mêmes draps les 3 jours et la corbeille à papiers dans la toilette était pleine à craquer car personne venait pour nettoyer la.chambre. Le personnel etait aimable et les déjeuners étaient bons. "
