"I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. "For the area this is a nice property. Outside the front gates you will find crushing poverty. No one speaks English and communicating is frustrating. Better have a phone translator. Rooms were relatively clean but sparse, no bedside tables for instance. Stray dogs walking around property. You have to be understanding in a 3rd World country. Compared to the area just outside of the hotel, this place is a paradise. "
