"This hotel is in the best location for the slopes. The hotel is dated, the elevators were working on and off. The hotel offers great activities for kids, arcade with cool claw machines, indoor and outdoor pool, spa, and alright restaurants. The rooms were decently cleaned. Sheets were clean but walls had gunk in some places."
"I can’t review my stay at Viceroy Snowmass as I wasn’t even checked in due to a flight cancellation because of a snow storm.
In fact I’m still awaiting a response from this property to see how they can accommodate for us loosing our entire stay without a refund or opportunity to rebook.
I’m hopeful and believe in the great customer service they claim that they will respectfully respond with an option. I’m certain they will return my messages as they are awaiting a voting process for #1 hotel in CO.
I would love the chance to enjoy this beautiful hotel! "
"The property is dated and needs remodeling. The continental breakfast was nothing special with limited items and variety. There are better options to stay in Gunnison. I will not be returning to this motel."
"We had a great stay at Limelight Aspen. The room was spacious, with excellent closet space for ski gear, and the complimentary breakfast had great variety and quality options. The hot tub was also a nice touch after long days on the mountain.
A few areas could be elevated to better match five-star expectations: the bathroom floors weren’t heated (something I would expect in a ski destination), housekeeping felt basic (amenities like tissues and coffee machine water weren’t replenished), there was no turndown service, and the hot tub could have been cleaner. Concierge services were polite but limited, and shuttle transportation to other mountains felt less seamless than expected.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality, but there’s room to refine the luxury experience."
