"We were travelling on a road trip between Normandie and Bretagne and found this little Precious gem in the middle of Pontorson. Located 5 minutes walk from the train and bus station, the room was decorated with great care and was super comfortable and clean. "Our room was up several flights of stairs probably 70-80 in all but thats to be expected on the island. Breakfast was outstanding, the bathroom attached to the room was excellent and had a separate shower and tub. Bed was comfortable and you get two pillows per person (which we have found is rare for Western Europe)."

"Auberge Saint-Pierre is a great hotel. Provides two major features that we did not know until arriving there. There is an area in the restaurant only for people staying in the hotel. If the restaurant is full, because it is really good, let them know you are staying in the hotel so they give you a table in the hotel guests area. The second one is a bridge or secret entrance / exit from the hotel to the ramparts. Only opens with the room key. And it is perfect to go outside for a couple of minutes to see and/or hear the high tide coming in."

"Close to St Michels. Short free shuttle bus away with shuttle running every 10 mins. Would recommend not staying in a hotel on island itself. Would be to hard to carry or wheel luggage from shuttle the final distance and the up step cobble stone road to hotel!

"This is a perfect place to stay for your visit to Mont St Michel. It is the closest hotel to Mont St Michel (about a mile walk) not on the island. Some of it's room and it's restaurant has views of Mont St Michel. Our room was updated and comfortable. It was great to eat breakfast each morning with the view and easy to walk or pick up the shuttle to take us to the island"
